I have been watching all these What I eat in a day videos of celebrities and vloggers. It made me wonder if any those people really eat like that every single day. Their plates look so pretty but who has that much time 3-4 times a day every single day? So I got curious about what you guys eat 😊

What do you eat throughout the day? Feel free to share pics!

I have the worst diet found in mankind. I skip breakfast because if I eat in the morning, then it’ll increase my appetite and I’ll end up munching on food the whole day. By skipping breaky, it’s easier for me to fast until around 2-3pm. That’s when I eat my first meal of the day (which almost always is a heavy carb meal i.e. pasta, burger, chips, rice, etc).

That’ll fill me up until evening, where I’ll nibble on some snacks (potato chips/crisps, junk of some sort). Then I’ll feel like shit for all of the above and vow that I’ll never eat again. I stay strong until 11pm, and then the negotiation begins. “This will be my last time eating junk. I’ll wake up early in the morning and exercise everything that I ate out of my body. I’ll have some laxatives to flush out what I just ate - blah blah blah”. So basically, it’s midnight and I’m eating carb-heavy once again. I then torture myself and watch Katrina Kaif dancing to Kamli. I put some hot chicks photo as my phone wallpaper so it’s the first thing I see and I set up my alarm to wake up extra early for a morning workout.

I then snooze my alarm every single day and repeat the above. 🙂

Lol fun topic. For a seasonal dieter like me it varies greatly.

My morning breakfast can be anything ranging from 4 large pizza slices to a cup of coffee and a Banana. If I am having a heavy meal once a day, I try to consume smaller portions the other two times.

I enjoy all kinds of food and find a way of working my diet around it. The only thing I avoid or eat in very small amount are sugary drinks/sodas and Indian sweets as they have no nutrients at all and are just empty calories.

Breakfast - two slices of bread with coffee.

lunch - 1/ 2 rotis with sabzis and daal + little rice; curd. Sometimes green tea after lunch

Evening main - chai and maybe some biscuit or rusk.

Lunch main - again roti sabzi.

I'm planning to go on diet though - eliminate bread with chickpea chat or oats etc in the morning..

and Raat ko only daal or something filling but light.

😆😆 🤣 I have thought about borrowing stealing my dad's laxatives before.

And OHH!!! I feel this monstrous hunger all throughout the day if I eat breakfast. So I tended to avoid breakfast. Except everyone and their mom would tell me breakfast is the most important meal of the day and act like I was committing a crime. Then I discovered Intermittent fasting few years ago which let me skip breakfast

Unfortunately I am doing intermittent fasting all wrong. Instead of fasting for 16 hours and starting meal at lunch my fast for the most part goes to dinner and ends up being 22 hours🤔

What kind of vegetables do you usually eat? In recent years I have gotten so bad about eating sabzis so this year I have really tried to include it in my diet. Having a hard time since I do not like most vegetables. I keep eating my bell pepper, asparagus and mushrooms.

All veggies that are available in India (seasonally) - I eat all veggies like a good girl 😆

Okra, pumpkin, peas, carrots, beans, karela, loki, tondli, torai, capsicum. Had mushroom and peas today.

Mostly traditional Indian food.

By the way, I have read that starving or fasting can actually cause weight gain?

As body goes into saving calories mode and then you suddenly eat, so you gain weight.

Not sure if its true or not 😆

I lose weight by fasting or starving because I’m eating lesser calories and burning more energy. Of course if you go on an extreme calorie deficit diet then your weight loss won’t last for long. It’s all about balance and making sure your energy-in-energy-out is maintained.

Mind you, I give free advice but I’ve never learned how to listen to my own. I just had Indian food for dinner and my cat is sleeping on my stomach, while my head is laying crookedly on the couch. I can’t move. Help

At this point I don't even know whether it helps or not 😭. It hasn't made me gain weight but lately I started shedding a lot of hair. When I put my hair in a ponytail it feels like it's a lot lighter than what it used to be. I don't know what else to blame it on so I self diagnosed myself and blamed it on my long hours of fasting and eating too little calories. I think I just fast because I hate packing lunch to work and all the restaurants around tend to have unhealthy food. I know I can always get a salad but I am big on washing my lettuce not dying from E.Coli so I try not to eat salads from outside.
