I think that is the general misconception and to further make the practice of contraceptives taboo. It all depends on the contraceptive and if its use was properly. Dhara shouldn't really have any issues as the pills she was taking was prescribed to her by a doctor and not off the counter. (Great move by makers by the way!).

Here, you can’t get the pills without a prescription. Are pills sold over the counter as well??

Raavi is not being plain dobi, she is being unreasonable.

Shiva has done wrong by misbehaving, but if she can wonder in room 'aisa kya ho gaya & dooriyan', if she wants her marriage to work, she can & will have to recognize her past follies & his insecurities.

She also needs to learn what friends are & how growing up, she took everything at face-value - be it Dev, be it all her friends so far.

I can't speak for all and can't discount your friend's experience. However, I had fertility concerns with contraceptive pills when my OB/GyN suggested it for me. Then she explained that it's a common myth. The pills have advanced and chances of infertility due to birth control is slim.

I also have many individuals around me who've been taking them since late teens. They've all successfully had kids in late 20s. But then I don't know if any of them went IVF route.

However, there's still slim chance for infertility issue. Dhara should check out with doctor asap and at least try for 6 months to a year before being dejected at the first shot.

Not here in USA but I believe my mom got it in fiji and that might have been over the counter.

I guess my use of over the counter for Dhara was that there is so much stigma around contraceptives that people might find other means of getting them that would not be safe

Her nickname Catty-Cat is apt. Catty meaning a spiteful person. She’s definitely coming off as one. You can’t be that dense that you hurt people. Gah!! 😫😫😫

Exactly, I know Shiva isn't exactly expressive, but the last two episodes are the heights of stupidity.

He is explicitly bursting out and saying things which are huge clues about what he is thinking. Does he have to write a thesis paper for her

Even if he does not say anything, there are some things she needs to learn to analyse for herself- what triggers Shiva. It is not that he is always constantly angry. Something happens and he explodes. So what are those somethings? and how do they connect? 😕

Seriously, Shiva is not even a mysterious character with hidden agendas. He is quiet literally reacting openly to situations.
