Kareena Kapoor played a Bangladeshi in her debut film Refugee. Now her cousins Zahan Kapoor plays Bangladeshi in his debut film Faraaz.

It is based on Bangladesh's terror incident in Dhaka which killed many people including the person named Faraaz. The role to be played by Kareena's cousin Zahan.

Zahan Kapoor is the lead in Hansal Mehta's Faraaz.

Director Hansal Mehta has finally revealed the name of his next film that stars newcomers Aditya Rawal and Zahan Kapoor. The team revealed the name through a motion poster, giving a glimpse of the plot. The video starts with a bomb blast at a cafe. The film stars Kareena Kapoor's cousin Zahan Kapoor, while Aditya is Paresh Rawal's son.

HANSAL MEHTA'S NEXT IS TITLED FARAAZ

Director Hansal Mehta made the wait for his next film harder after he shared the first look teaser of Faraaz. Faraaz is a joint production by Anubhav Sinha and Bhushan Kumar. The film is based on the Holey Artisan cafe attack that shook Bangladesh in July 2016.

Sharing the first look, Hansal Mehta wrote, "In the face of violent adversity, humanity wins! First look of #Faraaz, based on the true event of Bangladesh's 7/16 terror attack, a story that I've held close to my heart for nearly three years now! Excited to collaborate with @anubhavsinhaa and #BhushanKumar. Presenting an exciting and fresh ensemble led by @zahankapoor and @aditya___rawal ! (sic)."

KAREENA KAPOOR CHEERS FOR COUSIN ZAHAN KAPOOR

Kareena Kapoor's cousin Zahan is making his big-screen debut with this film.

The actress gave a shoutout to her brother and wrote, "When the night is darkest, faith shines brightest! Here's the first look at #Faraaz, a film on Bangladesh's 7/16 attack, by maverick filmmakers @anubhavsinhaa, @hansalmehta, and #BhushanKumar which is an incredible true story of a hero who will restore your faith in humanity! All the best @zahankapoor, super proud of you and can't wait to see you on the big screen! (sic)."

Apart from Anubhav Sinha’s Benaras Mediaworks, the upcoming film is also being produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series along with Mahana Films.
