It wasnt really a bad episode if I consider Ahaan-Sonu-Kartik characters and their development.

Dadi came across as hypocrite in her family, sanskar jaap whereas Ahaan truly believed and followed those sanskars. Dadi taught him to respect marriage but as she does not like Ishqi so she doesnt care about institution of marraige. But Ahaan always reepected institution of marriage and was not ready to leave Ishqi even when he is angry with her.
