Maine saare episodes dekhe the, ek bhi skip nahi kiya... Bas IF se gayi thi... Mujhe sach kahu toh track achha bhi laga tha in terms of character development... Hum kuch log IG pe group chat karte thay...

Dekho, Nazuk Kali pagal tha hai and humesha rahega... Abhi bhi pagalpan nahi chhoota uska...

Finally saw the episode! My thoughts.

1. Bon is now in a win-or-die mode. Either Ani saves her and in the process breaks himself out of the Don Babu cage, or she effectively dies, and Ani dies with her.

2. My heart went out to Ani in the sari scene. Poor guy was having a panic attack in the middle of the temple but absolutely no one seemed to care. Not just his hands, his entire body was shaking, he was crumbling into himself. But the RCs didn't care, Bihari couldn't act, and Bon herself is busy trying to treat him with her own brand of tough love.

3. I actually loved the Choor-Tupur-Ani phone conversation. Especially because I was right on two levels. Ek toh Ani ka desperation will increase day by day and he will take steps that are more and more questionable for TP's Barrister Babu. Yesterday he was going to help a sentenced jaasoos escape. Today he invited KN waale to rescue Bon. Aise hi he will get more and more desperate.

4. I was right, the Sanyasini punishment is khatkoing Ani on all levels, as a reformer, as a barrister and as Bon's Sakha Babu. Today he named it a kupratha, that no woman should face, knowing that the woman is innocent hurts more, knowing that it is Bondita hurts the most.

5. That confession was one of the most beautiful scenes I have ever seen. I could understand Bon's devotion, I could understand Ani's desperation, his anger, and his helplessness. Not only with respect to positioning (window to open door) Ani also moved closer to Bon in terms of opening up. He was a lot more free with his emotions, when he questioned her about her zidd, he didn't hide the tremor in his voice. He was openly pleading with her to not put herself through all of this.

While Bon's intentions are appreciable, and her love and devotion is completely pure, I find myself unable to support the torment she is putting Ani through, especially after the vidhi scene. In the Mano track, Ani wanted to push Bon until she breaks and her righteous anger comes through, at him and at the society. However, tab he was condemned for his methods by the audience as well as himself because he did not see the effect this trauma would have on Bon. In this situation, Bon is putting herself through this hoping to push Ani to break the Don Babu mask and have his inner Nazuk Kali come through, but again, she is unable to see or is ignoring the trauma she is putting Ani through either. Tab Bon did snap and declare that she will become a barrister at any cost, but there was a journey against her insecurities that still needed to be taken. Ab Ani will snap, and hopefully, marry Bon in desperation, but the journey against his fears will also remain.

I see the parallels to the Mano track, but I wouldn't term it torment. In that track, yes Bondita went through a lot, but Ani did it for her betterment... he was left with no other option. Now, Bondita is doing the same. She is left with no other option.

It might hurt them at the moment, but it's only so that the other one shines more.

Even diamonds form under immense pressure. He did that for Bon back then, and she is doing it for him now.

Would I do the same if I was in their place? Probably not... but then again, they know how to make the other one shine brighter than ever, and they understand each other best, so I do support everything she is doing right now. ❤️

Ani's intentions were good then, Bon's intentions are good now, but makers have never shied away from showing that wrong actions for the right reasons still deserve punishment.

In that track, Ani put pressure on Bon to make her shine. But by the end of the track, he himself realised, through an intensely emotional scene, that his methods were wrong, and that they were not what worked. What worked was something that could have been done without the fake marriage also. In fact, if he had successfully sent Bon to Dalhousie that day, he would have caused her possibly irreparable damage.

Similarly, Bon is also putting pressure on Ani now. But even her methods are not right, and I feel that she may also push Ani to the verge of irreparable damage as well.
