So finally all skeletons have come out of the closet and everything is out in the open. Now no one can say that each player is not aware of the consequences of this game and we have to see how this trophy aligns himself to the team he wants to win. But the biggest truth that came out was done to the person we least suspected, which was quite the surprise.
The episode starts of with Imlie having a sweet conversation with her Sita Maiyya. She asks SM about her family and correrelates it to Imlie's own who are fighting their own battles. She asks SM to take care of her Babusaheb and help to convince Aparna to agree, just so that they feel better. This girl will never ask for anything herself. Her requests will also be for others to be happy and worry free, as that gives her happiness.
Malini overhears this nad assumes that if Imlie can change so many people's minds, why can't she change Adi's mind. š¤¦āāļø So she justifies her action by saying that she is fighting for her happiness and lands us to sleep near ADI in his bedroom š¤¦. Adi as usual pure ghode bech kar so raha hai and has no clue ki kya pahad tootne wala hai uske sar par the next day, this being the least of his worries.
The next day we get Imlie and Sundar in the kitchen, with Imlie making moti rotis for Malini for breakfast. They spar with each other which reminded of earlier times. Sundar abhi bhi treats her like his friend and never makes it a big deal about the truth, which is refreshing to see. Imlie takes breakfast for Malini, but does not find her in the room. She comes out to se Adi's door closed, so goes to wake him up for office, only to be shown a sight she never thought she would have to see again. Seeing both sleeping on the same bed stuns her enough to drop the tray and just keep her quiet. Both wake up and Adi jumps out of the bed as if he saw a ghost, questioning Malini on what was she doing in his bed. Malini tries to explain that she was sleepy and by mistake she came to sleep in Adi's room. Adi is not bothered so much with Malini's explaination, but more concerned about Imlie's chuppi. He asks Imlie what is she so quiet, to which Imlie just confirms that she trusts him. Malini ki antar aatma taunts Imlie that she had also trusted her, but did nit know they were hiding such a big truth. Yahaan par bhi she knows that Imlie ne dhoka nahi diya, bas sach nahi bataya. Hence Malini justifies to herself about hiding the truth to serve her purpose.
Imlie leave, with Adi still confused. He again wants to know the reason for Malini being in his room, to which she says that because it was once their room, she feels safer here. Adi as usual guilt mein goes, oh you can sleep in my room - just not with me. Adi is a moron of the first order, but his statement goes to tell that without Imlie, Adi's room is no longer his prized possession. Without Imlie, Adi ke liye his room is just that - ek kamara that he uses to sleep and work. Woh sab yaadein that he wants to make will be only after it will become Imlie's room as well. Anyway, Adi sees Malini getting a call from Kunal and decides to meet him to get clarifications in what is happening. Good Adi, go there and saara kachcha chitta khol denaš
Imlie goes to the kitchen where Aparna and Radha are talking about how Malini and Adi were talking in his room last night and itne purane rishte ki yaadein pal mein thodi khatam ho jaati hai. Kaash aapne kaan lagakar unki baatein suni hoti Aparnaji, you would have been proud of you son's interior decorating skillsš. Bechari Imlie ke haath mein plate chub jaata hai and Radha taunts if the truth hurt her instead. Duh, of course your efforts to matchmake Malini and Adi are going to hurt Imlie, but woh thodi kuch bolne wali hai. Instead we get Imlie's senior and currently showing a lot of intelligence wali squad member - Rupi di, who makes up a story about her shaadi and how she is sad that her husband's GF is coming to live with him. Radha gets all upset, which triggers Rupi to remind them of hiw Imlie must be feeling, being Adi's first wife and seeing Malini living with them. Aparna and Radha try to justify saying that zabardasti ki shaadi cannot compare to reeti rasmon wali shaadi and starts her Malini jaap again š¤¦āāļø. I really wish Aparna had seen Malini ki harkat, but pata nahi usse bhi koi farak padhta.
Aaj we git the conversation we wanted, only it was nit with Adilie, but instead Rupi di filled in. Rupi di puts bandage for Imlie and asks her how she feels with Malini being in Adi's room. Imlie tries to brush it off, but Rupi di asks very pertinent questions on whether Malini deserves her trust. When Imlie tries to justify Malini saying that she backed off and she also has KC in her life, Rupi di again asks where KC was during all this mess. Aaj toh Rupi di is on a roll. Finally unke character ke hone ka kuch fayda hua and I am glad that she put these doubts in Imlie's head. Whether Imlie caught in or not, that toh waqt hi batayega, but at least these questions were raised and Imlie also has realised that things arr not fitting the way she thinks they are.
On the other side Malini justifies her flip to the dark side, saying she is doing all this to be happy. She tells him that she also has the right to fight for what is supposed to be "hers". KC tries to drill some sense into her, trying to remind her of her goodness that is being overpowered by her mother's influence, but to no avail.
Finally Adi lands up at KC's office to get front row seats to the biggest truth reveal if his "best friend". He sees Malini and KC together and asks KC what is the reason for Malini being in the hospital, to which KC responds that he does not even know she was in the hospital, because he and Malini are not in a relationship. It was all a lie concocted by Malini to suit her purpose and he was just going along with it. He tried to blurt out his feelings in a cryptic way to keep the door open for Malini to run back to him after all this gets over. Finally Adi connects all the dots to realize that Malini had lied to him in the hospital after the suicide attempt to reduce his guilt (this made no sense as she had no inkling about the truth then, so how he justified her lie then is beyond me). He mentions how Imlie bever believed about KC and how she is right (see your biwi is always right Adi, you should listen to her more). All this leads to the precap where Adi does not see Imlie and takes Malini on his bike from college to have a conversation with her, where she confesses that she wants to have her story with Adi.
This episode was filled with parallels to the first 100 epis, where Imlie was faced with similar situations as Malini did then. Just Imlie truly trusts ADI and Adi is also very clear with his stance. We just need to see how all this pushes Malini either to go completely negative (which will never happen) or to finally accept the truth and move in (which may happen, but woh Adile ka peecha kabhi nahi chhodegi, so that is there). Let the games begin.
