Nahi Shirin, CC had said na the punishment of devoting oneself to God or becoming sanyasini is only given if the accused accepts the crime. Not otherwise. If she hadn't said yes she could have escaped. Honestly speaking the case wasn't that strong against her, she could have easily escaped if she wanted but she didn't do much. As much as I am angry at Ani at being silent, I can't blame him completely, Bondita too is responsible for her condition.
