But this is ITV to move the story forward irrespective of it being historical they will definitely show differences between them.

Why don't MR talk to him directly that I don't understand!! And why KR behaving like a kid who doesn't want to go to boarding school that too I don't understand!! KR at this age should think of shaping his future well, he has always taken his Yuvraj/to-be-next Subedar status for granted and that's why he has not that determination to be a successful subedar. Maybe Gurukul helps him in shaping up & that too can't be possible if he don't have that determination...

KR is 13. Right now he is not thinking about grooming his future at all or Yuvraj post. All he is now thinking how to persuade MR into cancelling his decision. He is ready to bear any other punishment but he is not ready to stay away from Malwa.

Today when he asked AB about her feelings after leaving her own house and coming to Malwa you will feel him. Today he himself said that she would've missed her parents, brothers , friends ,cows,sheeps etc ....and then behaved rudely with him making her more upset. It was heart wrenching scenes😭

I was talking about KR's attitude in general. I loved it that he finally realized how it would feel leaving home. I still remember the scene where KR refused to go to AB's house and openly said that he don't like going there and then AB said even I don't love staying here still I have to live here na? Loved that KR realized all these now but frankly speaking, the reason for AB leaving her own house was more painful than KR's current reason.

Also if KR is 13, that must be the age when a student is in Class VIII/8 or IX/9, so if during this time, he doesn't start thinking of his future, when will he think that?

Well it says that education/knowledge gives humility, courteousness gives righteousness or qualities of being best, which brings money (incentives), that money is used for doing good for the people which gives happiness to the doer.
