First of all, what an opening scene. The fast drive and the office walk. Damn Shaurya Sabarwal!! What sass!! annnnnnnndddd then he becomes a petty little boy and makes Shagun wait. He is adamant. He is rude. He is arrogant. Sigh! He wins your heart and then you want to throttle him🤣

Now on the other hand we are back to the big fat indian wedding. Belittling the not so rich is an official custom at weddings. Loved how nikki defended her mother. She is resourceful. She quickly found a place to study. But dear father wanted her serving random guests so that someone might her? Just absurd.

Monty. Less said, better 🤐. Again, a side of society where men feel women can be owned and treated as they want. I wish someone had slapped him at the wedding.

It was sad to see Rami Bhalla pleading someone for his daughter. She is talented and amazing, the world can see, only if he could he himself would not feel so small.

Shagun really does love Shaurya and she is trying so hard. I wish they had not turned her negative. She is so poised and calm. Sigh!

Felt bad for Shagun today. Shaurya making her wait unnecessarily.... Shagun wanted to meet Shaurya for one last time and tried to convince him. But Shaurya is stubborn. It is either this or that for him. Not ready to come to a middle ground. Now he has started feeling that the women in his life are leaving him for their career. First it was his mother and now Shagun. His childhood abandonment issues have come back.

We saw SIAC for the first time in this episode. It was super. And also DJ made an entry.

As a relation is being made between the Khannas and the Bhallas, one is being broken between the Kapoors and the Sabherwals!

OUR FIRST SIGHT OF SIAC WAS MAGNIFICENT!! Did anyone notice how Anokhi's name was on the application list and the cursor stopped at her name!! ITV and its signs that the leads are meant to be!! I can't get over how petty Shaurya was to make Shagun wait outside just because he could. But I did love her dialogue of 'bina knock ka entrance". This dialogue comes back after ShaKhi's sindoor shaadi and the haq Shaurya gives Anokhi.

Anokhi is so admirable. I wish I had the tenacity she has with studying. Who sits away from their cousin's wedding and studies for an entrance exam? The dedication!!!👏 And Anokhi is really a patakha, who is going to explode on Monty's face 😆. This whole marriage market talk is disturbing all around. Chacha and Chachi talking about the car, the lehnga, and the decorations related to their daughter's wedding in a game of one-upmanship 🤢. Chachaji encouraging his brother to do whatever it takes to make the rishta happen. Papaji counting on his son to bring in the SUV and club membership as part of his dowry with his Engineering degree. All these people putting down Anokhi and Rama in the process need a visit from ShaKhi; a visit to Kapurthala is needed in season 2!!

Shaurya makes a grand entry into the SIAC.As soon as he enters his cabin he has few names on computer screen and Cursor stops at Anokhi Bhalla from Kapurthala.Best student toh hogi saddi Nikki puttar,who will be his better half soon.The Shaurya mean Sabherwal makes Shagun wait outside his cabin.This shagun has got self respect and knows her limit too which us why she is waiting outside...

Felt bad for Shagun...no girl should be treated in such manner.

Anokhi in Dolly ki shaadi.When she said her dress was by famous designer Ramaa bhalla,the pride in her eyes and happiness in Ramaa's face was priceless.Mothers feel so happy if her child approves anything done by her.

Rami Bhalla raising false hopes on drop out puttar and expecting a better return in marriage market.Anokhi trying to sneakout and study,Mr.Bhalla on search mission for Anokhi.

Babli Dj Vicky meet.......yippie.

Anokhi's epic reply to Monty....pura khota hai bro..Anokhi savage Bhalla..Monty's mother controlling him that he will marry a girl of her choice.Monty just got to see the sass in Nikki puttar and got attracted to her.Khannas and their class lectures to Monty....Beta Monty...beaware of sherni Nikki.

She always looks pretty but today she was extra cute.

Shagun Pleading Shaurya for some chance and Shaurya passing angry glance....almost kicking out of cabin on some excuse very very mean.

Bhalla pressursing Nikki for marriage.Some fathers think that guy who is settled abroad is good for his daughter.Raaj karegi....such words only impress parents not brides

The highlights of todays episodes:

Anokhi has a one track mind, her studies and nothing else.

Mr Bhallah, also one track on his mind: get Anokhi off his hands as fast as he xan.

Babli: She finds pleasure on little things.

Vicky: Babli's soul mate has the face of an angel and must be the guardian angel of the Bhallah girls.

Raja: Pressure from his father is having a toll on him and he will take out all this soon. Anyone/anything could be the trigger.

Shaurya: Was never in love with Shagun. He believes he is in love but his detachment is almost cruel. This is the effect of not having had love and hence he has a protective shield around his heart in order not to get hurt. I can understand his feelings and the need for him to keep his distance.

Monty: typical attitude of someone from abroad treating Indian girls as a commodity. Good Anokhi gave him an earful and him being so "intelligent", could not understand the double meaning....

God my fingers aching. Spent the better of the last past two hours tweeting for S2.

Today it was mostly about how papa Bhalla is desperate to fix the missed rishta and get rid of his daughter. By now it’s very clear that the only agenda in his life is to get his daughters married off and expect gains in the form of dowry from his sons degree. How can any daughter be happy in such an environment? Anokhi has become callous and thick skinned and is definitely unyielding to her fathers irrational behaviour. She finds every possible opportunity to give her best for the siac entrance which isn’t received well by Mr Bhalla as expected.

I felt bad for Shagun seeing her trying to put her point forward once again and not give up easily which is royally ignored by SS.

I felt bad for SS too for what the Sabherwals have made him into. He is like a potters badly mould pottery. It’s evident that his nurture has taken over his nature. We can only see his true nature once he starts interacting with Anokhi.

The very first frame showing babli and DJ had a spark and we can sense a whiff of sadness from both sides. How cute the the jodi would have been if not for covid.

It was disgusting to see Monty eyeing Anokhi.He got attracted to the sassy Anokhi and his attitude to own her wasn’t welcoming at all.

A very good quality of Anokhi is that she never felt inferior inspite of her being reminded of her background and status. The pride she takes to give a special mention about her mother as her designer says it all.

I missed the grandiosity of SIAC during my first watch. Happy that I’m rewatching it. We get to see SS in his true debonair form and what a symbolism that cursor stops on Anokhis name.
