I liked how Rishita thought about herself and Dev, and recognized that she has needs that go beyond what just a family expects from you. She brought in a fresh perspective, and of course what made her unlikable was the way she said stuff - but that doesn't mean she didn't say it the right way.
I also found it so weird that she was so quick to rise to Dhara's defense, just yesterday I was watching episodes after the danda kaand and rishtia was rooting for suman to throw dhara out of the house. How does one month change all of that? I mean obviously she has warmed up - but itna pyaar? how? so unrealistic
I can see what you mean about devta becoming like shivi - which in my opinion is annoying - shivi are like that because they have been fighting like that since they were kids, why are you fighting like them now? you've had two years worth of love - where did all of that go?
I get that they will have arguments, what couple doesn't? but they're acting like strangers, dev is acting like this isn't the rishita he fell in love with - he's acting like he didn't know how she was raised and what her personality is
So the way I see it, Rishitha did not stand up for Dhara because she likes her, but because Dhara was being degraded as a woman.
If it was Shiva, he would have screamed and thrown a bunch of things around, and asked the ladies to shut up. Also, if was anyone else, Shiva might have been uncomfortable, but he may not have spoken up.
But if you notice Rishitha's words, it was more like " You are yourselves woman- you should be understanding Dhara's pain, not taunting her". I get the feeling, that had it been anyone else, Rishitha would have said the same thing. I guess she can see herself possibly being in a similar situation- ahe does'nt want to have kids yet- and the same ladies villified her.
What would make Rishitha's character more consistent is if she stood up to Shiva and Suman for their treatment of Raavi. 😕 That way she can be shown as vocal against anyone treating women unfairly.
