In Pallavi's case, we have seen her toil day in and day out for that family without much reciprocation/help/support from the family..barring Ayi who was there emotionally for her but couldn't share her problems/worries which is partly Pallavi's fault too.. She has this tendency which almost all ITV FL's have which is to bear all the burden single handedly. Point is whatever she says about her in laws being there for her after Mandhar died etc etc is all words..we never actually got to see how the family and Pallavi coped after Mandhar' death. That's why it becomes hard to relate to her unrealistic attachment to that family..excluding Ayi and Kaka here. Now this "mere baba" has completely thrown me off.. Farz, kartavya ek limit me rehke accha lagta hai. Apna ghar fuk ke dusre ke ghar me diya jalana kaha ki samajhdari hai. No one will have a problem with her helping Mandhar if she does it within limits.. giving in to a ridiculous kasam and then crying helplessly...All she had to say for me to get onboard with this track, is say she is doing it for Ayi and Mandhar.. not baba..

I get your anger. But she saw VD touching Raghav's feet. And knowing how much ego he has, she was shocked! No matter how much ever you cut your ties, she considered him a father, not just father figure hence a very deep attachment. So she is being an emotional fool, but woh Pallavi hai, she will roar when things go above her endurance level.

Exactly they didn't built up the back story but directly jumped into the obsession part

Agar sidhesh ko negative dikhate tab bhi samajh aata but now its hard to relate.

Agar use anaath hi rehne dete tab bhi justify ho jaata

Lekin abhi uska loving, caring and supporting bhai hone ke baad bhi uska D fam obsession samajh nahi aata.

@bold word. Her baba dialogue threw me off too. Agar ayi k liye bolti toh viewers relate kar paate par Baba deserve hi nahi karta yeh sab.
