Ishqi is essentially relying on Rhea's past bad experience with Dadi (at the Ishqaan marriage) to act as a deterrent for her siding with Dadi again. She said as much to Rhea- Dadi can do to you tomorrow what she's doing to me today.

Not a very clever deterrent because Rhea's first focus is to get Ahaan for herself (the baby then takes care of itself) and she thinks Dadi can be managed.

But Rhea being Rhea, she is dumb, she believed dadi telling her ki jab tak you listen to me I’ll do everything for you. Plus she saw how ishqi initially reacted to the pregnancy news and supported ahaan so she knows it’s difficult to separate them

Did anyone feel they could’ve shortened dadi and rhea’s dialogues at the end, dhamakedaar nahi laga mujhe. I was waiting for the thappad man 🥺

Also, Ishqi perhaps fails to recognise that her word alone (she says she'll ensure the kid is supported because she was an orphan herself) is not really a strong enough motivation for Rhea, and Dadi's offered incentive has far greater value.

That being said, Rhea's otherwise always been decent to Ishqi (apart from the kidnapping part), so Ishqi doesn't really think of Rhea as the double crossing/scheming type.

Exactly, daadi pakad pakad k kheench rahi thi Ahaan ko dance karne k liye. Mujhe laga Saavy ka pill le liya kya daadi ne?😆😆

Poor dude's literally had just two scenes since the Diu shoot I think- one when that letter was sent to Ishqi, and today when Ahaan asked him where Ishqi was!
