Sorry for barging in but I completely agree with what you said. I am reading it everywhere that I too needs to fight It out along with BS but it is A & M's marriage and they need to sort it out without I getting involved. It is A who (unintentionally of course) needs to make M realize that he loves Imlie and I needs to sit this one out but also stand by BS like during the bhesht bahut competition. Also would like to add, Imlie's character will progress if she takes a stand in front of elder T's but that would again go against her core character to be selfless and also a little selfish because self respect also requires a person to be selfish for themselves, which Imlie's character is not. Anyways this forum is filled with positivity that FD needs right now. Couldn't stop myself from writing.

First of all, thanks Seera for opening the thread. I finally got some time to share what I thought about today's episode and I thank my stars I did not have the time to review in the morning, coz I could not have done so even if I wanted to. But after reading all the reviews/rants and calming down a bit, I was finally able to string some thoughts together.

1. Today finally Malini decided to embrace her dark side - at least enough to suit her purpose. Will she go full on negative & vampish like her mom- of course not. But will she try to look grey - there also I am not so sure. See the issue with Malini is 2 fold - one is that no matter what she always would like to remain in everyone's good books, including Adi & Imlie. That tendency to always be goody goody to someone's face white washes of all her sins, as no one is willing to call her out on all her misdeeds. So no matter what she says or does, someone is always there to go - oh but she did it because she was influenced by someone or misunderstood.

Second issue is that she is a pendulum herself - she refuses to pick a side no matter what. Dekh lena, even in this "I want only Adi" mess, whenever KC tells her that he heard everything Malini said and that he is mad at her or tries to show her the mirror, yeh phir se confuse ho jayegi. She will still want Adi, but will also want KC to be in her life. The minute KC says that he will go out of Malini's life, she will start seeing him everywhere again. Yeh abhi immediately nahi hoga, but will start happening when Adi promptly ignores her and gives all his attention to Imlie. Whenever Adi chooses Imlie over her in any situation, usse KC ki yaad aayegi. This pendulum nature is why she will always remain bechari and will never go to the other side - she neither has that presence of mind nor that himmat to do something diabolical on her own - she will always need a crutch or fallback to cover her in case of anything going wrong.

2. I loved how everyone picked up on the fact that Adi was just tired today. It made me laugh seeing Adi's reaction on hearing about Malini - he was just annoyed and what to do. He was compelled to go and see if she is alright (gehri dost & saali afterall), but given a choice he would never have done so. It was almost out of habit - like how elder siblings go to check on their younger siblings when they do some kand, muttering along ke "kahaan phasa diya mujhe" type dialogues😆. His reactions at the hospital with the doctor, specially his dialogue that why do people assume if someone is depressed then it will be related to their partner only. Women can have issues apart from their love life, their lives need not centre only around their husbands. This line I assume was also a dig towards the upcoming track, jahaan woh bechara khud rope banne wala hai between both teams ka tug of war. IMO this was almost GM's way of apologizing for what we will be getting next & remind us that life need not always be centered around your life partner - there are other things in life to worry about as well.😆. Also Adi was in no way interested in AC's bakwaas, till she threatened to torment Malini. Bechara was forced into taking her in, thus fulfilling AC's plan, but if you aksed him, he was all ready to play matchmaker between Malini & KC, just so that he could also move on with the divorce. But yaar, this really makes me wish that we get a scenario where Adi & Imlie try to get KC & Malini together, as they assume those 2 have feelings for each other. This shoukd happen after the KC truth comes out. Mazaa aayega when Malini will be caught in the web of her own lies.😆

3. Okay unpopular opinion, and I may get a lot of flak for this - but I was mad at Imlie today. Knowing Aparna's tendency and way of talking, what I did not get was where did Imlie's self preservation go. And no I do not mean that she should have taunted or spoken back to Aparna. What I meant is that the situation should have been handled more delicately. Imlie should have gone back to her room and asked any of the jr T's to call Adi to find out about Malini. See Adi clearly explained to everyone that in the current situation they cannot make a crowd in the hospital, which is why Adi went alone. If Adi felt Imlie was needed, either he would have taken her along, or called one of the juniors to get Imlie the hospital. But Imlie being all DDLJ ki Kajol to Aparna's Amrish Puri, going all - "Mujhe chod do, mujhe mere Raj ke paas jaana hai" was just too much for me to take. I do not know when Imlie will realize that sometimes her need to reach out to people who do not deserve it will make her fall in trouble. Bechari yahaan Simran bani baithi, aur Raj ki tarah gaali bhi khaayi, aur maar bhi kha leti. God either Imlie needs to grow a spine or choose to remove herself from the situation to keep her sanity intact. But yeh nahi hone wala hai, pata hai - but a girl can hope😉

Baaki sidey characters were same old same old - nahi kuch naya dikha na kuch naya suna - so going to leave it at that. For all those ranting about Aparna - dekh lena, this track is going to be interesting and frustrating - Itna mazaa aanewala hai😆 Quoting Apudip - looks like finally sabe ki aankhon se chashma utarke everyone will be able to see the true faces of Malini and that Adi neither then nor now ever loved Malini.

I have additional thought to your malini being bechari.. you are right she will be put in bechari category but she wont be forgiven easily... how ever influenced you are.. you are committing the atrocious acts that will eventually hurt people and will cause problems in already extremely chaotic household..

That stains wont go away.. she might be forgiven but would definitely loose her importance.. thats just how i see it..

i am folding out hope for Imlie.. she has always spoken up when dadda or amma has been accused.. though very mellow reactions.. but she has.. and i really hope they step up her game.. cos yeh lato ke bhoot hai baato se nahi manenge

sidey characters ka kucho nahi ho sakta. abhi sirf 5 main characters hai... Aditya Malini, imlie, AC and Aparna..

Hey you don't have to be sorry for that. This thread is for discussion of opinions and even rant, interact as @Seera had said.

You can always share your thoughts here without any hesitation.

Agreed with your points but it's just that when Imlie can stand up against AC to keep her self-respect and for that matter even against Adi, she can do so here as well. She doesn't have to be rude. She can still be polite. But she should take a stand. And this is taking a stand for right which again can't really be selfish.

With you on the first part. Adi created this mess and it's AM marriage so they should be the ones to sort it out, mainly Adi because of two reasons - one, he created this mess (unintentionally or intentionally) and two, PPP can't do it by herself.
