You should see Babita Kapoor. She literally pulled Krishma from school and pushed her into BW in year 1991.

Despite Karishma being a Kapoor, it didn't help her much in BW. She had to struggle in BW and had stiff competition from Raveena, Madhuri and others.

In fact, I would say Kareena Kapoor had it easy. By the time she debuted in year 2000, internet was just starting.

Cracks started appearing b/w KJo and SRK. By the time, it was year 2010, KJo dumped SRK and formed an different inner circle containing élites only.
