Obviously, the family repeatedly tried to murder her in such creative ways. Kabhi coal se bhare hue room mein lock kardo, kabhi put her inside raavan effigy on dusshera, kabhi place a bed of nails under a 2 inch thick carpet (that injury made no sense)- why not try some less elaborate but more effective murder technique? Like, idk, poison her food or just shoot her? So extra.
