Apart from all of it, mere man me yeh aaya that somehow we're drawing a contrast to the first 100+ episodes spent in PDA with DD. There Imlie was, bereft of her rights, an onlooker to all of it and today, with the shift of time, we get a contrast to it with M as the onlooker. Somewhere that way too they plan to show the differences between AdiNi and AdiLie - the basic difference between a rapport of so-called friendship and compatibility and a soulful connection, rapport of true love.
At that phase, she was getting what she surely dint deserve but accepted and braved throughout selflessly.
And now, M will be getting an answer to her delusions and a clear picture of how deep their love runs in turn getting what she deserves.
Hopefully it shall help her move on with KC.

While I loved your overall review, the bold part really stood out for me. I never thought about it till I read what you wrote and it actually clicked - that is exactly what the makers are going for to close the loop. I really want to see how Malini is sidelined for Imlie and how the makers create situations for Malini to rally understand how much Adi loves Imlie not just because she saved his life, but because she has become his life.
I thought of scenario too. Apu may insist Malu to recite that poem just to show off n Malini getting all confused n starts but could not continue N Imlie jumps in to cover up Malini by making some excuse Dd aap bhul gayi aap doodh nahi pete ho na isliye🤣... N Apu n Adi both realising that it was Imlie's poem. I don't want Adi ready knowing it. I want to see his face when he has this epiphany 🤣
Regarding not being in love with Malini..we saw it first hand. That first episode rain scene itself was big proof. But even if love was not there, Adi being loyal n honest man got him into this mess.
He multiple times considered Malini’s I’ll health . And even he was ready for marriage with Malini because of that issue only. Now also Malini using that as a weapon. After 3rd pd trip he was about to tell the truth and stopped by AC ‘s interference and knows she get fainted and all..he is just done this on humanitarian grounds only… that’s why when she seems to healthy or no issues he was like why are you here…imlie from first day it self sees this side also…

Classic case of projection of one’s own feelings as if it’s of another’s. Malini is good at that because she hides her true feelings behind a facade of shy smiles and bolapan. She’s AnaConda and Darpok’s beti some of their traits sure rubbed off on her…..she’s only been around them when she’s teaching at college.

All that time when Aaditya was mad at Imlie for their gun point marriage he too insulted and lashed out at Imlie but he never had manipulated any situation to put Imlie in bad light. While being furious at Imlie 24/7 this guy always was concerned of her safety, dignity, he applauded her courage openly when she saved those girls, not once had he made her feel any less of person for not having father’s name. Aaditya never was ashamed of being associated with fatherless Imlie though he was angry and repulsive of their association.’
He offered Imlie help in finding her father, not insult her for that. Every time he asked Imlie to go back he either was planning to drop her himself or made sure somebody accompanies her, not ‘darwaje tak hum layen hai aage you are on your own’.
Apu is typical ITV MIL even vampish now for me who is all about her big ego, nothing tops that not her son, his happiness, other’s opinions, the society that she tries to hide behind, I many time feel that it’s not about M too it’s just that she rejected Imlie as DIL and Aadi is not budging at all.
however Aaditya, as you said was a victim tricked by fate but at the same time, also the chosen one by fate to deliver justice and due recognition to Imlie-SK-Mithi. He always have had vision to see a person beyond outer presentation (even before forced marriage), readiness to accept that his judgment about a person can be wrong, his ego never came in between when his perception of SK or Imlie was changing. He is a rare species who has courage to pay price for what he believes in.
So superficially Apu and Aadi appear same to same by their actions but they are very very different in their intentions and values as a person.
