Anyways, on a serious not that still would have been nice... They showed Ved recognizing Mandar as well as his mother easily. So, they could have shown a link between the two through the drugs business.

But more than that, I feel Mandar track should have had a proper build up instead of directly jumping into his psychotic/obsessive side on the second day itself.
