Loved, loved, loved this exciting episode! Yes it was full of flaws, but seeing as it is a daily TV soap with precious little time to prepare for each episode it was magnificent!
The most obvious error was at the beginning when SK appeared in the middle of the road by Imlie, like another apparition - perhaps that was what was implied, that she would think SK was not really there either like Aditya was just in her head. However, the fact that he was there begged the question - how did he get there so fast, alone and on foot? I would have expected SK to turn up in his jeep filled with his men, not alone like that which was not credible, he is an experienced kantrikar and surely would not do this. It made the whole thing seem rather feeble.
The chains that people thought OTT are not so daft really, as the terrorists would want to hurt and humiliate Adi further as he cost them their leader, and having beaten him so badly he would at least have a few cracked ribs and a ton of bruises, so weighing him down with heavy chains would further cause him much pain and distress. And of course it was delightfully dramatic and exciting and emotive.
I am not sure just how much of this episode will be shown in the UK, maybe a few minutes here and there as there is so much shooting! đ.
Of course several times both Adi and Imlie were huge easy targets, neither were zigzagging to make themselves harder targets, but then this is a fantasy, so maybe the goons were just rotten shots! I am hoping SK does a bit more tomorrow as he seems a bit sidelined just being on his own, though his support for his gurya is great.
I hope both SK and Meethi give the elder Trapathis what for tomorrow, and I really hope Imlie does not forgive them as their behaviour has been abominable.
Very enjoyable episode, the range of actions and expressions of both Imlie ( what a roll with the gun!) and Aditya were magnificent. Imlie's angry goddess expression was quite terrifying!
More like this please!
