She essentially said costumes are supposed to be a reflection of the character's personality... if they are Mary Sue characters, you dress them in neutral colors and plain clothing, if they are divas, you experiment with fashion styles and colors...

With Shiva's explosive, chaotic personality, I would've had him dressed in colorful, chaotic shirts with a bandana always wrapped around his wrist (he could use it to brush aside his long hair whenever he is doing loads because he is too lazy to get a haircut). His vest would be plain, netted, graphic tee styled. People who look at him would immediately think he is too chaotic, but he somehow makes everything work out in retrospect.

Raavi, meanwhile, should be dressed in more form fitting, stylish clothing. She's the cutest girl of all of Somnath, and this should be reflected in her makeup and accessories. I envision her to always wear bangles (that Shiva teases her for since he is able to hear her before he sees her), necklace, visible earrings. She would be dressed in color coordinated pastel and dark colors. As nice as Raavi looks in black, I would save black, deep red, and deep green for special occasions when she is supposed to capture Shiva's interest

Raavi's wardrobe should be more detailed.pre marriage, she wass shown to be very particular, even about her curls getting out of place.

Maybe she has mellowed down post marriage,but she is shown dressing up happily on many occasions.

And I want shiva to notice small small things about her , that's what happens when you fall in love .we saw shiva breaking her bangle stand in a hurry to open the gift,the next day raavi's wrists were bare.there has to be a meaning to such scenes.but the CVs forget about it completely.

I don't mind Raavi's fashion changing if she gets married (honestly shouldn't happen since a marriage shouldn't change your personality or core character), but I do mind that we aren't getting scenes of her being particular... in the opening scene, we see her putting on lipstick and admiring herself in the mirror... it was this nautanki side that made me fall in love with her!

I so wish to see her sitting in front of the mirror wondering whether she should put on the bubblegum pink lipstick or the rose lipstick (with Shiva in the background being annoyed and muttering how there was a difference since both lipsticks were pink)... they could even have a continuation scene much later where Shiva wipes food from the corner of her mouth and comments how she chose bubblegum pink lipstick instead of the rose lipstick, and this could've prompted an entire conversation where Raavi is thrilled at the idea of making him a makeup guru and he's like, "Leave me out of this!!"

In terms of the small things he notices... I really wish for Raavi's next birthday, Shiva notices all these small things, from the earrings she wears to the nail polish she uses. I want him to gift her a plastic chipkali toy (the usual present) along with a small gift box that has pretty bangles she could wear, her favorite nail polish color, a hair pin... and then there could be a follow up scene when she wears all of these and stares up at him expectantly while he blushes and turns away from her commenting how he wasn't so bad with fashion after all...

They move too fast to worry about the simpler every day moments of life...
