Imo gombi dhara cud have planned a child after 2-3 years instead of taking contraceptives..there r other ways of family planning ..contraceptives over a long period of time can cause harm. Medically chode , dev krish and shiva were not toddlers who needed their mom. Gombi and his brothers were pretty self sufficient without their mother for so many years..so yes , dhara has some explaining to do..why couldn't they plan earlier ? Dhara didn't let them grow up either.

But these issues have been pushed in by the writers. I don't want to keep pointing back to the OG as this irritates a lot of folks- but many of these issues are not there. No unnecessary celebrations, no selling of jwellery for constructing rooms nothing. Given the current state in PS- yes they cannot have multiple children. They are in a bad state.

For GauRa having children pre-leap:

Again, the issue is not physically taking care of the kids. It actually took them the full 10 years to get the store out of debt. They would have NOT been able to educate the boys, definitely not have Dev complete his MBA if GauRa had kids. It is not about medical issues. Having children is a herculean task. You are severely underestimating the financial strain a child can add- forget the actual amount of energy required to bring them up.

I would say if Gaumbi had only one brother, then it might have still made sense for GauRa to have children. But to have even 1-2 children with 3 young children at home(yes 10-13 years is still young), with a handicapped person, and when you are already in debt, would have literay dragged them to the streets.

They villified Anita- but any girl would balk at entering into this setup. She was kind of right. A girl would have dreams of having a peaceful home and having kids of her home. Gaumbi was not in a state to give a girl a cosy home 🤷‍♀️

I saw a pre leap post where dhara said "gombhi bacche kisse nhi chaiye but mere liye yeh 3 bandar kaffi h". Somthing like that!!! Than I saw their bhabhi maa wala scene.

(I started watching this show after post leap, so I don't know the details story of dhara and gombhi ) but what I feel they were a strong character but now CVS destroying their character not only this two but everyone.

Dev is useless he is never speak until or unless dhara is concerned.

I don't care wala Shiva is transfer to on self pity mode.

They made a cheerful raavi as a dopi.

And modern and practical Rishita to self centered and insensitive person.

Some time I feel bad for rishita, she fight so much for marrying dev but what dev did nothing!!!

When she said hurtful words to anyone, dev said nothing but when she said something reasonable then dev shouted on her.

I completely agree with all your points. As I said, I only support Dhara pre-leap.

Post leap everything has slowly gone down the drain 😐

Like you mentioned, most of my problems are coming with the CVs themselves. Individually, I don't mind watching storylines where characters sell jewelry to fund a cause, or characters who have a strong sense of self-doubt, or characters wishing to be uncles and aunts. In fact, a lot of the mistakes that the PS characters made, I've made at some point of time...

But, what I do have a problem with is how the CVs/set technicians are handling all of these tracks... After showing us the importance of the jewelry, I would've expected Suman to be wearing the bangles as often as Prafulla was shown to wear them. After showing us the build-up of ShiVi's track, I would've expected to see progression in Shiva's thinking. I don't mind self-doubt, but when we get repeated scenes of "I smell like masalas and you don't like that smell" I get tired. I want to see character growth... not character stagnancy... Even DevTa's relationship... CVs should be building on Rishita's emotions, we should be seeing Rishita calling her sister, we should be seeing secret meet ups between Rishita and her mother, we should be seeing how Dev consoles her because a girl who has no access to her family is very heartbreaking

Just as you mentioned, if I was in Anita's place, I would walk away from the marriage with Gaumbi as well. It would be stressful to take care of 3 children, a disabled mother in law, and have a shop set up in debt. You have to be extremely strong to face that, and I don't think Anita was as she was just a child back then.

As for GauRa's children... I would've loved to see a scene of GauRa wanting children themselves, not because the town shamed them for not having any. The other day, I spoke to my roommate about children. We talked about what the appropriate age would be to have our first child... which included when we felt we would be professionally well settled, when we would be of good financial standing, when we felt as though we were emotionally ready. These are all important questions since there's nothing more devastating than having a child who is not wanted...

🤣🤣🤣 Did you notice, after me complaining in the EDT for the past several days, they have been using ShiVi picture in yesterday's and today's article. So I am skeptical if they would use Alice's post, as its from Simran's b'day bash and a picture of KDIce.

If they do, I will be the first one to point out. I do not want them to use their personal pictures to write about the episode😆
