Why does Aishwarya Rai lie that she has not endorsed fairness creams?

These ads of Aishwarya Rai endorsing and promoting Fair and Lovely, Lux White Soap, and L'Oreal Skin Whitening products will shock you because Aishwarya has said on various occasions that she will never do advertisements, commercials or promote in any way cosmetic products for skin whitening or lightening as it is against her beliefs.

In 2009, during her interview with Tyra Banks, Aishwarya said: "Even though I do endorse with a cosmetics company, I have said I wouldn't attach my name to a fairness cream".

In 2011, Aishwarya's PR released this article:

"Aishwarya Rai has said that she took a firm stand by refusing to to be the Indian face of a skin-lightening cream by a global cosmetic company. Revealing the real reason for Aishwarya's refusal, her PR said that it was the fairness cream that bothered Aishwarya. She said that she didn't want to promote a fairness cream especially in India where one's skin colour is such a big issue. She will never promote a product that discriminates on the basis of one's skin colour. Ours is a society where biases are so prevalent that she will do all she can to curb it."

Why does Aishwarya denies it when she has clearly endorsed more than one skin lightening products over the years. Why does she lie that she has never endorsed skin-whitening products when there is proof all over the Internet that she endorsed, promoted, and sold fairness creams, skin bleaching, skin lightening, and skin whitening products and made money from them.

these bollywood wala are number 1 hypocrite like our politician.....they can do anything for money....Some are spread fake news of their sturggle through their PR once they established in the industry to just gain popularity.
