I wonder how the netflix season will address their story when it comes lol i think dev has always been the wallpaper brother for me lol if he wasnt around it wouldnt matter lol rishita as a standalone character is great her different pov to the pandyas her approach to things can help unbrainwash the younger set especially raavi who grew under this weird thinking lol As a romantic couple devta dont interest me but to show different trajectories of life choices they can be interesting with dev taking a job in another city but still being close to the family and rishita adjusting to the family but also opening their eyes and minds to other ways especially the younger lot. Also her pursuing a career in anything at this point would be good too lol
I've always thought wallflower characters, when done right, have the best storylines... even more than the "chosen one" or "handyman" storylines because the wallflower needs to work extra hard to become well-liked by the audience. As such, there's always immense character growth since the wallflower needs to realize he or she is actually special...
Dev, as a character, has so much potential. He can be shown as the charming "boy-next-door" type. Someone that everyone crushes on because of how nice, sweet, and helpful he is. He can be shown as the best older brother... someone who's a perfect mix of Krish's fun nature, Gaumbi's sensibility, and Shiva's protectiveness. He can be shown as the man with his head in the clouds, always dreaming of new ways their family could get richer (either with a story opening, fixing the appliances at home, or being the one to fall for the TV advertised products "Rishita, we need to buy this random appliance now. The deal expires in another 10 minutes!! Where's my card?!?!")
