hermionie and harry were friends from the start and had a respectful almost sibling esque relationship once they got close. They were alike too in some ways.

As for ron and hermionie well they clashed since the start and even as frenemies they kept on clashing over the years, they do resonate similarly in shivi pattern. But there were many moments through the years that you could see they were more than just friends or clashing partners and had several moments even when they liked others that they came back to each other.

JKR is a weirdo her opinions only matter coz she is the author but she has said when she was in a dark period in life she wanted to kill off ron and do this and that and then she regrets pairing her and ron etc its her opinion but so is her controversial opinions of ppls lifestyle choices so she should just stick to writing and mind her own beeswax lol

JKs opinions matters a lot because she wrote those characters with a deep understanding that only she can achieve. Readers kitna hi analyze kar le Author se zyada analyze nahin kar sakte. Her opinions also matter because its her time and effort and life she has spent to create Potterverse. If she had just written without feels HP series wouldnt become this loved.
