According to me, Ahaan is placed in Sonu's shoes.

Like the expectations placed on Sonu, his family too placed expectations on him to not compromise his values at all- sober or drunk.

Sonu was scared to tell anyone anything because of the burden of the world's expectations and that she'd get blamed because she's a girl, 'she shouldn't have gone to the party in the first place itself' ; while Ahaan hid the truth because he knew no-one would trust him, they all would make assumptions based on the first thing presented their way.

Sonu didn't tell the truth to anyone because she was scared of her marriage breaking, she knew how Sarla is; while Ahaan didn't confess anything because of his fear of losing Ishqi, he could lose anything and anyone but not his wife.

If you place him in Savitri's shoes- both have been accused of an external affair, accused of cheating on their partners. Interestingly, the catalyst to it being Dadi both times. Dadi's dislike for working women made her question Savitri's loyalty to her husband; while her incomprehensible hatred for Ishqi made her team up with the lady who's hellbent on ruining hergrandson- the grandson she so often claims to love the most in the world. Dadi has proved once again thatno-one matters to her. Family or not family- if their happiness causes her distress or a slight disturbance to her plan, she wouldn't mind cutting off the root of their happiness.

Yes, This is very nice way to look at it. That is why Ishqi's dialgues are bothering me. She understood Sonu so well, supported her but here she is doubting Ahaan about still having realtionship with Rhea. She has every right to be angry and upset but she should have done that for not telling her the truth.

I dont know if Dadi actually belives it is Ahaan's child or not. Either way, she is just giving pain to Ahaan by trying to break him like this.

From what he has known about Savitri, no doubt she is wrong, but he should now try to understand how sometimes we get trapped in these kind of situations and do something wrong even if we don't want to.

I dont know if Dadi actually belives it is Ahaan's child or not. Either way, she is just giving pain to Ahaan by trying to break him like this.

I hope it's just an initial reaction to it, and she later on thinks it through. I also felt uncomfortable with her doubting Ahaan, but let's see

I think she knows Ahaan enough to know the baby isn't his. She doesn't care whose baby it is as long as she can use it as a bait to separate IshqAan😡

I think it was her mother who said in one of the previous episodes that she would have been better off sending the reports to Dadi rather than Ishqi for an instant reaction, and voila! 😃
