Cinderella was my favorite Disney movie as a child, but as I grew older, I realized just how problematic it was. @bold, was one of the reasons I started hating Cinderella and it's many re-tellings with the exception of those where Cinderella is best friends with Prince Charming before. Disney protagonists were usually problematic in our time avi. Prince charming had no brains, wanted to choose a woman he conversed for sometime based on a shoe. Ridiculous.

But snow white was more ridiculous. He saw her and kissed her when she was out of it and she marries him. How much more foolish can they be? Love kya ainvay hi ho jata hai?

Sleeping beauty! He kisses her in her sleep! What can we even call this guy??? And that hundred year generation leap is not something they will be able to ignore!

Al the fairytales are kind of problematic!!

there is this drew barrymore version of cinderella called ever after its my all time favorite versions, if you find it do watch it. Its the most realistic versions of cinderella and you enjoy all the characters.
