No Gul was never ready to take 7-8 year leap. Usne khud article mein bola thaa ki she dont take short leap in her shows as they dont work which is why she always take 20 years leap. Even in the past she didnt took a short leap for Qubool Hai too. And another thing is Gul never approached her for her post leap. Maine uss time IB ke updates bahut closely follow karta tha and kahi pe padha tha ki gul either wanted 7-8 yr leap or wanted to explore pregnancy track .....aisa hi dono me se ek ka padha tha which surbhi clearly rejected hence usne 20yr plus ka leap liya

Anyway my main point is ki surbhi is very much image conscious.....she is very much particular about which type of character she wants to portray (obiviously she wants to play diff types of characters but old age roles uske criteria me abhi fit nhi baith te)

To be honest i think she took a very smart decision. Warna uski haalat Devo jaisi hojaati. She is still call mom and grandmom.

But if she is approached for BALH s2 i dont think her character will be above 35 and she will get to experiement too. She will probably be a lady in her 30s and Nakuul will play a boy in his 25. There will be an age gap of 5-7 years so nothing drastic. But its not like Surbhi is must if there's someone else eligible then she should also get a chance like for example Adaa. And why Nakuul cant they take any other popular actor for ML role.

Woh divyanka ko cast karne ki soch rahe thy matlb woh abhibhi divyanka jitni old actress ko hi cast karne ki soch rahe honge jo thodi mature bhi lage and look test me inki jodi bhi best lage .....so surbhi kaafi young lagti hai divs se toh i dont think woh approach hui hogi.....anyway dekhte hai kisse approach karte hai woh
