Yes , Pran fits amazingly in every role he did. I am a big fan of him. Even in positive roles he did gr8.😃

Amitabh wouldn't have looked good as anyone (Salim or Akbar) in the 70s. Probably now he can be a good Akbar but not in the 70s. And definetly not Salim. He doesn't have that royal presence about him. I still think after Prithviraj Kapoor, Pran was the best available choice to play Akbar even though he was of the same age group of Dilip Kumar, but his voice has that magic. In 70s toh he would have been amazing as Akbar.

I can see now. Amitabh might not suit Salim.. I can think of Shashi Kapoor . If Hrithik is suitible for Akbar, so Shashi can fit as Salim.😆
