The ending was actually quite good. Usman (Muneeb) dies in the end from drug overdose and a lot of guilt. I'm actually kinda glad Rida (Madiha) didn't go back to him. Although it was his family who irritated her and abused her, the culprit was also Usman. He never stood up for her and spoke for her, and that's why she lost all her trust in him. It shows that he did not even realize his mistake after the burn incident. Usman was still hesitant to move out of his house, showing he didn't wanna leave his parents despite the million wrongdoings they had. So it's nice that they didn't show a happy ending for him because it shows the consequences of his actions, which took him too long to realize.
Kashifa (Muneeb's sister) went crazy which honestly wasn't really that needed but it was the regular, expected trope for evil characters. I actually liked the endings of evil characters in Gul-o-Gulzar, Qurbatain, and etc where instead of losing balance because in reality evil stays evil or ends up spending their life in guilt once they realize it. Her husband does leave her with their kid and tells her parents off, which was good. In the end, also spend their life in regret. They never showed what was their reaction to Usman's death though so I wish they did that.
Rida gets a happy ending with Raza Talish's character so at least she stays happy in the end. Although you could tell there was a pain in her eyes over Usman's death and his condition in general, and why not. She loved him and he did betray her and sometimes love does not go away. She runs from the hospital and she and Raza have a nice convo in the end which wraps up the show.
Saboor's character's story had already kinda winded up way before with her husband because they both were happy a few episodes ago already. The cousin, who was always behind Saboor's husband is told to go away after she falsely tries to put harassment accusations on Raza's character so that's how she ended.
Good ending overall. It actually had a good message of how sometimes mistakes really cannot be rectified.
