Exactly that idea was come from haters comments only. I earlier follow other site of WU & it has comments section…there I saw mention “sundar as damaad “ idea … it was approximately in suicide track I think.

Well they wanted to make those haters also feel included - hence this tactic. See so many of the apparent "Malini" fans were complaining, so they had Imlie, Sundar & Adi being called the vilest possible names to give thandak to their kaleja. Pankaj Kapoor was there in the Tamil version as well - he is the one who plays the Kashmiri terrorist who kidnaps Arvind Swamy first, but then lets him go in the climax.

I assume she meant that this character may come in to help Adi get released in the last moment (though I do not know how that will play out. My bet is that this new character would be the Minister)
