This comment I made before I saw that you clarified your stance. But the post you wrote earlier wasn’t helping either. I don’t think we as women should even be tolerating victim blaming. In recent days, the victim blaming posts are touching the skies, I have seen people reacting with laughing emojis on posts suggesting the FL should be exploited so that she ‘learns’. These things are infuriating.

And calling me super sensitive for Pallavi while I am just calling out the obvious bias is not fair. But I get you now. You misread. I apologise. I will delete my post too.

Basically, FL was a TV actress, one of her fans got super obsessed. Uski engagement ke din, he snuck into the house, and assaulted her while she was getting changed. Bohot, bohot graphic and lamba scene tha, extremely disturbing.

Only nice thing was, ML doesn't rescue her. She fights back, a lot, herself but gets overpowered, but one of the house staff, who's very friendly with FL and loves her a lot, she comes to the rescue eventually.

Aftermath was horrible. They played a romantic song, and ML helped her dress up for the event. She was injured and bleeding, and makeup kar rahe the. There is a discussion on what she'll wear because her clothes are ripped now. No conversation on why she's injured, why her clothes are torn.

And I gave them benefit of doubt- maybe in that moment, they just wanted to give her a distraction. But there was no follow up on this. Scene hua, and khatam, moved on.

That's what na. It's not like, oh the perpetrator got arrested, and baat khatam. There are life long implications of such incidents.

There have been some similar scenes with RaghVi and RoNakshi, but they're different couples at the end of the day. I hope he doesn't go down that route anymore- this track came well into significant channel interference, I don't think this was his idea.

In his defence, by this point Star was running the story, not him. He'd had a scene between the leads just a week back, where they said they want to date, not rush into a marriage, but TRP ke chakkar mein, this wedding and assault drama was forced on us.

Basically, they don't want women to be happy apni shaadi pe. Ya toh forced wedding, and if it's this, where they're genuinely excited and in love, so let's dump some other trauma on her.

Exactly my point! Not possible. It’s against a doctor’s instinct to see someone hurt and think about anything else than getting that person the medical attention she needed!

That's what I said earlier today. If they can't handle such sensitive topic properly, then shouldn't go that route. We have already seen how they handle the 3 mms scandal on the show.
