Agree, this would have been a good way to show how a girl who gets into unwanted marriage, falls in love with her husband and as she grows up and lives thru the marriage, realizes that what she faces is nothing less than toxicity and emotional abuse, falls out of love and walks out.

I watched yesterday's episode and I really felt Sai has been extremely wrong about deciding to stay with Virat when neither he nor she could clarify their positions on the where their marriage stands. Both are equally wrong - why I am saying that Sai is wrong is when Virat didn't clarify his posn she should have walked out or she could have clarified her position that she doesn't want a deal wali marriage and hence she is walking out. For her own sanity she should have done that. Its extremely sad to see her in this position and at any point in life a woman should learn to love and respect herself first before her own lover or husband! That's why I am saying she's wrong!

Partially I agree with you. Initial days of their marriage Virat took her for granted at least as a wife or a partner. He was supporting her merely as a gaurdian or as a orphan who's father lost his life in order to save his.. But subconsciously he was falling for her and they had gone through a lots together so love happened naturally. Denying food was a low blow. He looses his cool when it comes to Sai. He can't control his emotions when it is related to Sai.

He imagines Sai and Ajinkya as himself and Pakhi. He knows that he had a thing for Pakhi 😆.So it's inprinted in his head that Ajinkya might too have feelings for his wife. 😆Virat has a really misconception about friendship.A man and woman always don't need to romantically involved.

Now it's up to Sai whether she wants to stay with virat because living with him she may have to deal with his rage aswell .For once ITV should break the cliche that woman let past things in the name of her man's love 😆

This accident should be a wake up call for Sai. Virat isn't worth his salt. A woman may tolerate hunger and poverty, but to be falsely accused of infidelity is beyond any person's acceptance. There is no one that she call her own in that house, even Aai. There's love and there's unconditional love that Sai will never get from anyone in that household. It's the ugly truth. Sai is alone.

I don't know how the original track developed, but if I were the writers, I would tear Sai from CN. She needs mental and physical space to recover. Virat needs to get his priorities right. He needs to get ready to lose something. He can't have it all. Either he loves Sai and tells Pp to bugger off. Or he cowers, has neither of them, and accepts that his downfall is the result of being stupid and greedy.

Comparing Sai and Virat as "both flawed" is akin to comparing a cold and cancer as "both illnesses."

Also allows for justifying Sai being abused, as if she deserves it on some level. And as far as Virat meaning well, but losing control, that would be true of most criminals - nice most of the time, but lost their temper and hurt someone.

No matter what, Virat in extreme rage, though not intentional but does things which can be booked under IPC. When he cools down, even he realizes it.

We all understand Virat's pov, his insecurities and how Sai not reciprocating is making it difficult for him. But that doesn't mean she deserves this from Virat. As per their original deal, she was supposed to stay with him till she finishes education. She is thinking she will still stay with him as per deal and trying to work her way thru the family.

Sai is a bit naive who sees goodness in everyone because she herself is good. Virat underneath is not a bad person, and that's why despite what he does Sai forgives him and goes back to him. She is in early stage of love and seeing him in pain or crying will only melt her. If she can forgive Ninad, do you think she won't forgive Virat?

Yeah anytime sai does walk away, either virat comes running after her dearly and tearfully apologetic in such a manner that only a girl with a heart of stone would refuse to accept especially when sai does have an emotional attachment to virat as he in a way is the only "apna" she feels she has left, or he gets shot and she obviously comes running back because again her heart isn't made of stone and will be concerned hearing him being in such a life-threatening situation. Then virat acting all sweet and lovey dovey with her each time he tries to convince her to forgive him or stay with him is something that's hard for sai to resist not being persuaded by, because it seems sai is like any human girl who will have to take a good couple of rounds of humiliation and being thrown out by her husband to realise that each time he apologises does not mean he will not repeat the same mistake.

I'd say the most realistic aspect of itv is many women no matter how abusive or toxic their husband/ lover is, still find it hard to stay away or walk away from him or reject his apologies when he seems dearly apologetic, and still not learn a lesson when he repeats the same mistreatment towards her. 🤪

I agree. Both characters are flawed but cannot compare sai and Virat as Virat has been abusive towards sai..
