The hindi version FL is way stronger and outspoken in the Telugu the mother in law was the sanki one and the male lead was a small time gunda unlike raghav who literally rules the city. Sunny or Ved all are original plotlines they didn't exist in the original one. In the original there was no forced marriage and he didn't have a mother he had a sister radha who was good unlike keerti who is a fool. In the original the male lead falls for the female lead and goes around behind her like a puppy to convince her finally leading to her giving in to his love when he meets a accident. And they fall in love and her ex husband Doppleganger comes into picture after which the truth is revealed and then they get married. Gorintaku and mehendi hain rachnewali have only the basic plotline in common.

not to offend anyone but this is typical telugu/bollywood movie plot line… stalker turned lover…I am happy they changed the story… I think it doesn’t work in ITV… only show I remember where this theory works was Pratigya I guess … (i don’t watch may itvs but read the storyline of interesting one)

here in ITV male leads were either eye candy or stand in when camera zoom in or go in circles…at least in 2000s shows…and then comes the latest crop where ML are rich, arrogant, rude and male chauvinist and FL is poor helpless and tortured by ML but stood up to him in one way or the other… (ipkknd, kdb, kkb, ishqbaaz and the list goes on), force/blackmail marriages are the way to go…

atleast in MHRW in initial tracks.. dono me takkar ki fight hui h… male lead didn’t use words like kachra, characterless and all…

they had professional rivalry and clash of opposite ideals and MUs but never once ML humiliated FL … FL demeaned ML a couple of times but that to just bring out his anger…

I must say Raghav was like a coconut… hard from outside, soft from inside… though they were enemies but Pallavi was very comfortable around Raghav…

ab to khair they are husband wife and in love…

waise I was watching that abortion track and I realized BWA already told VD that Raghav is his would be son in law…quite amusing…

overall I can say this show hasn’t become cringeworthy even in single interaction between pallavi and Raghav…

no yaar… I recently joined IF… kdb and MHRW are only two forums I follow… the credit of making me join IF goes to kdb not out of appreciation but out of frustration… I watched kdb during lockdown and by the end I became so frustrated with the show that I needed to vent and when I found their forum their AT was literally a BT so was satisfied to know that there are other folks who feel that way too… that show do not deserve to be no 1 and it is not anymore…

MHRW I joined for appreciation… this show is literally very good so far…why good shows do not do well in rating game is unfathomable..

I know you might like Udaariyan even I found the ML very interesting and concept too but only initially… the way ML is still obsessing over his ex lover who humiliated him in front of everyone, jilted him on altar is beyond my understanding and that’s why never watched the show..

I might someday if the story becomes interesting and digestible 😉
