He's from palampur, I guess
The language sounds to have a bit punjabi touch to it. Maybe because of the history, the whole region used to be a part of the punjab province.😆
@bold. Me too, I love to know about different cultures. Will have to learn a lot from you, Momziee ❤️❤️
Pahadi belt has populations of native Pahadi Pundits. They also have Rajputs who fled invasions in the medieval period. They also have. Tanakpur, Udham Singh Nagar, which is majorly Sikh, Sindhi population who came to this Terai region post-partition ❤️

On a side note Pahadi culture is beautiful, including the songs!!
There's a whole new musical world of young age singers who are emerging.
Kumaoni weddings have a big nath! They increase the gold in it every year. ❤️
Sorry for going a bit overboard. I am usually fascinated with the cultural nuances of each region.
I haven't seen Tamil Nadu much, but I am in awe of Malayali culture especially Sadya food and Thrissur Pooram
@bold Same, I'm always eager to know more about all the cultures...
As for Tamil Nadu, there's a saying-
Vandorai vaazha vaikum Chennai (basic translation: Chennai welcomes and gives a better life) basically applies to the whole TN..
It's cultures and warmth always impresses me.. all the people are love, you'll never feel like an outsider.. despite us being non-tamils it always feels home there...personal experience 😆
@underline we get to taste them mostly during onam and it's fantastic
