Honestly what Vanraj is doing is usually what people do after corporate retirement and when they are tired of the rat race. They change their hobbies into their jobs, some travel, some start tutoring, some open food or handicraft businesses. My locality has a retired armyman who now runs a healthy juice store and he is doing fairly well because his kids have moved abroad and he just has his wife and widowed mother to support as well as a good pension.

We don't support Vanraj because he hasn't been a nice person, and he has a spoilt brat of a Pakhi and a useless Kavya wanting to plan a family to support, and he also has a huge ego of still wanting to be the breadwinner of a joint family, but had they not been there, his job is very relevant to earn just enough to support himself and old parents after retirement.

Paritosh gets all the guts in the world to defend Vanraj against Anupamaa but his spine cracks to dust when Rakhi insults him 😆😆

Apne dam pe ghar lene ki hasiyat nahi hai ka matlab kya hai? I don't understand why are people so against it when a son in law receives any gift from his parents in laws or say even ends up living with them as a ghar jamai? What is wrong in it? If a daughter in law receives gifts from her in laws then its fine for example Anupama getting 1/3 share in the house, I don't see anyone talking about her hasiyat of owning or buying a house that even apne dam par, or the fact that she has been in living in the Shah household all her life not a separate house of her own either, why have such double standards?? I mean is it only acceptable if a daughter moves out of her own house and lives with the in laws? A son can't do the same? Why does it become a matter of shame if a son lives under his in laws roof? Any answers? Is this a plain patriarchal mindset? Atleast that's what it looks to me.

When Toshu moved out and lived with the Dave's temporarily Anupama barged inside and dragged him back home, Rakhi can't even do that due to this disgusting norm of daughters having to live with their in laws or the husband's family. Why does a girl have to live with her husband family but a boy can't live with his wife's family?

In real people are rude, harsh, or whatever. People change colours I understand. Rakhi is just like that. So she was appreciated. She is a real character, members claimed that But what she clearly portrays a wrong image of rich class. We all want freedom right? Nowadays parents are much free to give their children freedom, while Rakhi is over controlling. And she wins all the battle with Kinjal's love.
