Ok ..Shivangi Khedkar is maharashtrian by birth.

Born in Indore but grew up im Pune...she recieved the title of Ms Pimpri Chinchwad in Pune. Kedhkar is Maharashtrain surname. Pune is a place where they speak shuddha marathi( I know this because I grew up there too 😉)...so I am sure Shivangi by birth family and by the place she grew up mostly in thats Pune..is quite fluent in Marathi. What she had said in IV is that her whole team speaks marathi it makes it easy for the to interact since a lot of cast is marathi.

This is what Sai also mentioned as USP of the show both leads are shown at real age and real cultural backgrounds so it makes the interaction believable.

In recent single live session also she was speaking marathi quite fluently.
