Sai is half Marathi half telugu. He knows both these languages.

Sorry to correct you but Khedkar title is a Marathi title or surname which originated from Khed region of Pune and Nagpur. They are Deshastha Brahmin whose kuldevta is Shri Narasimha and Shri Mahalaxmi gotra is shandilya, kaushik, kashyap. Yes , she has grown up in Indore but that do not change the fact that she is a Marathi girl. As she grew up in Indore so her Marathi has the Hindi accented tone and her Marathi will not be 100% convincing like a native Marathi speaker so that is what she meant as many actors in the team who are Marathi helps her with her accent and native tone of Marathi language.

Nhi re, she grew up in pune only! Itni baar toh bataya hai usne apne solo interviews mein.

Else you might be right about the surname thing, because I don’t know much about this.
