PART- 11

Shiva was under the shower.taking a bath to calm down.he was broken.he was hurt ,humilated and shocked at the same time.he was feeling like a fool who got carried away with his feelings.raavis words rang in his ears.what hurt him more than her rejection was her accusation that he was taking advantage of her vulnerable condition.

He came out and sat outside in the aangan.he didn't know what to do.his day always ended on the phone with his chipkali.he was so habituated to her in these few months.he felt empty today, as if his life has lost purpose.

He felt a hand on his shoulders.

Dhara stood there with a cup of tea.

She didn't ask him anything.just silently sat besides him.shiva sipped the tea.

After some moments he broke the silence.

" Woh mujhse pyar nahi karti bhabi" he said with his voice choking.

Dhara was surprised.she was sure raavi loved him.what happened?

" Aisa kaise ho sakta hai shiva? Din raat phone par ya message ke through baat karte the tum dono.tu uska Kitna khayal raktha tha.itne kareeb aa rahe the tum dono.pyar nahi karti matlab? Shiva tu phirse baat ..."she was interrupted by shiva

"Bhabi , aap hi ne sikhaya hai na.kisi ladki ke na ka matlab na hota hai.phir mai apna pyar uspar kaise thop sakta hu? Sirf isliye ki maine uska khayal rakha? Phir to Mai khudgarz hua na bhabi.aur apka shiva khudgarz nahi hai " he said looking at dhara with tears in his eyes.

Dhara was proud of him.she has always been.but it broke her to see him like this.

" Dekh shiva, agar koi aur ladki hoti to Mai tujhe kuch nahi kehti.par yeh raavi hai, tumhare halaat normal nahi hai.ho sakta hai uspe koi dabaw ho? Tu to maami ko jaanta hai na." Dhara reasoned.

" Baat jo bhi ho bhabi.mai bas itna jaanta hu ki usne mujhe khud se dur rehne ko kaha hai.aur mai us faisle ki izzat karunga.agar mere kismat mai raavi hai to woh mujhe milegi, aur agar nahi to mujhe iss sach ko apnana hoga." He said determined

RAAVIs ROOM

It has been days since she had not seen shiva.she didn't go out if the house.she spent most of her day on the bed.she made a point to eat well for the sake of her baby, but other than that she did nothing else.

Anita couldn't see her like this.her smile, the spark of her eyes was all gone.she was just carrying on the daily activities of her life and then laid in bed the whole day.

" Fui, dekh rahe ho raavi ki halat? Shiva ke saath woh age badh rahi thi, firse hasne lagi thi.kahin hamne kuch galat to Nahi kiya na? " She asked.

" Are kuch galat nahi kiya.yeh uska kuch dino ka dukh hai.dheere dheere woh shiva ko bhul jayegi, aur ek baar baccha aa gaya to sab thk ho jayega." maasi replied.

Anita was unsure but she still nodded.

PANDYA STORE

Shiva drowned himself in work to forget about her.he just worked, ate and slept.he tried to keep his mind occupied as much as possible.he went outside town frequently to supervise the work of the branches of pandya store. But still sometimes, in the solitude and darkness of lonely nights and, her memories discreetly crept in.

The news of raavi being pregnant had started to spread.people talked in whispers.

Two women were taking outside the store.

" Bechari ki umar hi kya hai.use dekhkar lagta nahi tha ki apne parivaar ka iss tarah muh kaala karegi" kanta sighed

"Are kya keh rahi hai kaanta? Mujhe to pehle se hi uske lakshan thk nahi lag rahe the.kaise dev ke saath ghumti thi,usse pyar karne ka dhindora pitti thi pure Somnath mai.maine to yeh bhi suna hai woh uske bhai ke saath bhi ghum rahi thi " she said

"Baap re baap.ladkiyo ko hi dhyan rakhna chahiye.dev to Kitna seedha saadha padha likha shareef ladka hai.zaroor iss raavi ne use behlaya hoga.mujhe to us bacche par taras aa raha hai.pata nahi unhone baccha girwa kyu nahi diya?"

Kaanta was interrupted by a loud voice

"BAS" shiva roared

He had heard enough.how dare they?

" Aap logo ko sharam nahi ati? Iss tarah beech raaste ek ladki ke izzat par keechad uchalte huye" shiva said with a look if disgust.

" Yeh Sahi hai.usne itna bada kaand kiya.woh kuch nahi.humne keh diya to hum bure ho gaye" kaanta scoffed.

" Agar raavi ki galti hai to dev ki bhi hai.taali ek haath se nahi bajti.dev koi school jaata bacha nahi hai jise behlaya jaa sake.kam se kam raavi mai itni himmat to hai ki woh inn sabka akele saamna kar rahi hai.peeth dikha kar bhaag nahi rahi hai woh" he said with pride in his eyes.

"Tu ek aurat hai na? Ek maa bhi hai.phir ek aurat ke baare mai aise kaise bol sakti hai? Jo baccha abhi tak is duniya mai aaya bhi nahi hai, usse baddua dete huye sharam nahi aayi?" He said angrily

The ladies looked down.

" Agar kisiki himmat badha nahi sakte to kam se kam use todne ka kaam mat karo " he warned

They left from there without saying anything.

Someone had witnessed the whole scene.the way shiva defended raavi in her absence made her believe that he would take care of her.

Anita walked into the shop.

Shiva saw her coming.he sometimes asked her about raavi's well-being.he needed to know if she is ok.

"Raavi..." Anita interrupted before he could continue.

" Raavi thk nahi hai shiva " she said.

Shiva was worried instantly.what happened?

" Kya hua use? " He asked

" Woh hasna bhul gayi hai. Din bhar bed pe leti rehti hai.bas do waqt ka khana aur medicines kha leti hai apne bacche ke khatir.yeh sab hamari galti hai.humne hi use tumse milne ke liye mana kar diya. Humein laga Tu bhi use Dev ki tarah dhoka de dega.dhara aur parivaar ke age tere liye raavi aur uska bacha kabhi koi maayne nahi rakhenge.woh tujhse bahut pyar karti hai shiva.bahut pyar .mai use phirse tutte huye nahi dekh sakti.sawaar le use shiva, isse pehle ki bahut der ho jaye " Anita pleaded

Shiva looked at her with an array of emotions.he was confused, angry, Hurt and happy at the same time.

How could that idiot think he will betray her?he will give her a piece of his mind. She had no right to hurt herself based on assumptions

He dashed out of the store.

Raavi sat back on the bed trying to read a book, but her mind still drifted to shiva.she sighed and kept back the book.

She felt a movement behind her and looked back.

" Shiva.." she didn't expect to see him

He held her hand and gently pulled her up.

" Mujhpe zara bhi bharosa nahi hai na tujhe? Aise kaise soch liya ki mai tujhe dhoka de dunga? Maana ki ek baar tera Vishwas toota hai.par kya tujhe mujhme aur Dev Mai koi fark nahi dikhta? " He asked genuinely hurt.

She shook her head with tears pooling up in her eyes.

" Mujhe Anita ne sab bata diya hai.isliye koi bahana banane ki sochna bhi mat " he warned her.

" Shiva, yeh sab itna aasan nahi hai.mujhe tujhpar poora vishwas hai. Par mai tere layak nahi hu shiva. Nahi hu " she sobbed.

He was startled.what? She is not worthy of him?

What has gotten into her?

" Yeh kya bakwas kar rahi hai tu? " He asked

" Sach keh rahi hu shiva.tu bahut aacha hai.zindagi bhar mujhe apne palko pe bithake rakhega.jaanti hu. Par kis kimat par? Kya tera parivaar kabhi mujhe apnayega? Dev kabhi na kabhi to wapas ayega na shiva. Mere ateet ka ek hissa hamesha hamari zindagi se juda rahega.kya kahungi apne bacche ko? Kya rishta hai uska aur tera? Tu apne parivaar aur patni ke beech mai pis jayega.mere ateet ke bojh tale teri khusiya dab jayegi.tu ek aisi ladki deserve karta hai jiska ateet saaf ho, jo tujhe bahut pyar kare, tere parivaar mai aise dhal jaye jaise unhi ke liye bani ho. Mai woh ladki kabhi nahi ban sakti shiva.sab kuch bahut uljha hua hai." She said everything she had piled up within her .

" Bol liya? Ab chup chap meri baat sunn.kisi aur ladki mai apni khusiya Talashu ,usse Kahi age badh chuka hu mai.Ya to tu iss shiva ki Gauri banegi ya to koi nahi.tu meri hai, tujhse juda sab kuch mera hai.yeh bacha bhi.peeta kehlaunga mai hamare bache ka.aur pyar ke rishte khoon ke rishto se Kahi badhkar hote hai, iska misal tujhe mere aur dhara bhabi ke rishte Mai mil jayega.janam nahi diya unhone mujhe, par mere liye woh kya maine rakhti hai yeh tu acche se jaanti hai " he said holding her shoulders.

"Hann.bahut pyar karta hu mai apne parivaar se. Par itna pyar woh bhi mujhse karte hai raavi, aur tujhse bhi karenege.dev ke liye hamare ghar pe kabhi jagah hogi ya nahi, iska faisla lene ka haq sirf maa ko hai.par Mera vaada hai tujhse ki agar dev pandya niwas mai rahega, to hum kahin aur ghar lenge Somnath Mai " he assured her

" Par yehi to mai nahi chahti na shiva.ki tu dhara bhabi, gombi, maa, krish.inn sab se dur ho jaye." Raavi said.

" Alag ghar mai rehne se duri nahi ati raavi.mere dil mai unke liye wohi pyar aur izzat rahega.aur woh bhi iss baat ko samjhenge." Shiva said.

" Bahut pyar karta hu mai tujhse.maine kabhi nahi socha tha ki kisise ISS hadd tak pyar ho jayega mujhe.meri duniya hai tu, mere hisse mai ati hai, mere parivaar se alag nahi hai tu chipkali " he said hugging her tight.

" Tujhe andaza bhi hai ki yeh din mere liye kitne mushkil the.kitna dard hua mujhe." He complained

"I am sorry shiva.mai chahti thi tu age badhe, mujhe bhul jaye. Isliye khudse dur karne ke liye maine tujhe itna kuch Suna Diya "she said

She cried in his arms letting out all the grief.they stayed like that for sometime.

He wiped her tears.

" Ab itna mat ro,teri sehat ke liye thk nahi hai. Aaj se is chehre par sirf hasi hogi.yeh vaada hai mera.ab tu dhakka bhi maregi na to bhi main kahin nahi jaunga. Tera chipkala ban jaunga, bata raha hu " he said

She smiled .

" Chal" he held her hand and took her out.

" Hum kahaan ja rahe hai shiva? " She asked.

"Mujhpe bharosa hai?" He asked softly while stopping and turning back.

" Khud se zyada" she replied spontaneously

He smiled.

He took her on his bike to a mandir.

" Shivaa, yeh?" She asked slowly understanding what he intended to do.

" Woh kya hai na.tu bahut badi gadhedi hai.tujhe mai abhi ek pal ke liye bhi akela nahi chod sakta. Phir se koi tv serial dekhegi aur uske mahaan bahu se inspire ho jayegi. Ab to Mai tujhe hamesha ke liye apna banake hi manunga " he said.

Raavi chuckled at his enthusiasm.

He took the sindoor and applied on her partition.he held her hands and took saat pheres around the holy fire.the pandit came and handed them two varmalas.they put it on each other.

Finally they were man and wife.

Shiva held her hand as they walked out if the Mandir.

He pulled her to himself and kissed her forehead.

" I love you mrs raavi shiva pandya " he whispered.

She blushed hearing him.

" I love you too shiva" she said and hugged him.

" Chal ab maami ko surprise, nahi shock dete hai " he winked at her.

This chapter was heart breaking.....I had a lump in my throat reading Raavi angry outburst...Shivi are in pain equally💔

Maagin and Oily😈 they spoiled everything

Now its going to be a painful journey for sometime...I am waiting to see how things play out next❤️
