Hey hi Prema ( I hope I got your name right @mpks1)
Thank you for your wishes. That experience was from the 8 years of my life before I got blessed with a daughter .She has turned 2 recently . 😊
I feel blessed and thankful but the constant pain and judging for so long doesn't seem to fade away. I don't know if I can truly forget and forgive people around me one day for the emotional turmoil I was put through.
Funnily , people have now shifted their comments to how not adequate a mother I am because I chose to get back to work after 2 years of childbirth as if being a working mother makes me any less of a mother
Vani, you got my name right😃 I am happy for you and hope your daughter is doing well.
You should be happy and proud of yourself for going back to work. You are doing this for yourself and your daughter, People around us are never happy with anything we do. I don’t even live in India anymore but I have been constantly lectured on how to raise my kids. They are teenagers and starting to understand the World better and learning every single day. So I have stopped paying attention to the naysayers and have learned to change the topic all the time and now they are annoyed with me😆
