My views differ here actually. Time chahe kitna bhi hua ho zaroori nahi hain they should have had a physical relationship. Pyaar hain they claimed but jo banda woh chote chote romantic gestures bhi nahi karta tha, who prioritised work more than her, I don't see they would have got physical actually. Unme hamesha se kaafi formality rahi hain. There has been no attraction or for that matter even attachment. Max bas hugs and forehead kisses the. So I don't think they would have shared a physical relationship.

And I feel if they had, her insecurities wouldn't have been this much.

This is strictly my view though

Exactly...but it won't work for ITV audience ( trp aunties and general ones) if the give him this dialogues..trp audience can't digest this from hero and so this friendship label

And I feel if they ever had had any physical relationship, Adi would have been in a lot of guilt. This whole thing would have been more messier.

We all have discussed some time back how he was subconsciously aware of his marriage with Imlie. So he wouldn't have gone ahead with any physical thingey

Even I have felt the same. Because it doesnt seem like Adi if hes consummated his marriage with Malini and after separation calling it as just friendship. He would definitely say that he fell out of love instead I feel. He wont disgrace such a deep relationship just by giving it a friendship tag.
