Seriously that one line took away the effort he did to make Sai’s birthday special. He should have said sorry for blaming her for Sai’s injury. Bad writing or rather callous and irresponsible also I must add.

And even when Pakhi asked him why does he think because he celebrated Sai’s birthday she was leaving the house and he answered saying “kyunki mein mehsoos kar sakta hoon”

Me as an audience have not interpreted that he feels sorry to have celebrated Sai’s birthday, but he did apologise to her as quoted above and that is the fact. I am also shocked that my interpretation is misinterpreted.

Just because Virat supports Sai or celebrated her birthday in such a grand manner doesn’t make Virat wasn’t wrong here. Whether he apologised for his brother or anyone, the reason which he gave and apologised was wrong. He should have apologised for his behaviour towards Pakhi because that was wrong. Why for this?

Sai’s loud nature can always come across as her being harsh and a person who bashes, Virat a guy who stays mum and cries all the time, can look like a victim. I understand.

It wasn't properly executed I think but how I interpreted it was, Virat apologising for hurting Pakhi's feelings, not for throwing surprises bday party for Sai. He realised that she got hurt by some things that happened in the bday party and in a desperate attempt to stop her he apologised. A scene I ignored because for me it's just silly KD copy paste, but he shouldn't have done it but isn't it much in line with the other 'bloopers' Virat did? Holding Pakhi's hand during Sairat's first hug, ushe pehle asking, pleading to her to participate in skit etc. He wanted to stop her no matter what for his family I think atleast.

Moreover I don't think he meant it, but he only apologised upar upar se.

He didnt apologies I think. It was more like calling out on her. He was like oh yeah I know where you are coming from. So he said sorry. The whole sequence so poorly written that one can feel that way and get confused about Virat's character. Their screen play is so poor along with editing.🤢

Initial days of their marriage both Pakhi and Virat used to be so frank with each other that they used to to enter each room without any hesitation. Sai tried to stop her coming their room but virat shut her saying why it should not affect her since their marriage is a deal.

What I read about KD That virat is the guy who is gonna go through a lots because of his own stupidity. He is too emotional. He is not impulsive like Sai but gets carried away by his emotions so easily. During shruti track he may bond well with her still will feel empty inside. Later I think after Sai leaves he will be abandoned by his family for five years. KD viewers know better.
