Shiva and raavi have been on Rocky terms since he had come home drunk.he conveniently avoided her and the construction of dhara di's room gave him another excuse.he was busy all the day working, and slept in the night early after a day's hardwork.
Finally the room was ready after a lot of hurdles.dhara di refused to have an attached washroom built in her room as she felt it won't be right since rishita and raavi don't have one in their rooms.
She had decided to talk to shiva today about why he was behaving so weird but he was already asleep.she sighed and went to sleep besides him but she couldn't.so she decided to go to the terrace for some fresh air.
She saw rishita sitting with a gloomy face.
She sat beside her.
Rishita gave her a weak smile.
" Coffee?" raavi asked.
She nodded.
Raavi prepared coffee for them both and brought it.
" Mai tumhe bhi itni galat lagti hu kya?" She asked.
" Tum galat nahi ho Rishita.bas tumhare kehne ka tareeka galat hai.mai bachpan se iss ghar mai aati hu.koi bhi dhara bhabi aur gombi ke saamne unchi awaaz mai baat tak nahi karta." She said.
" Par tum hi batao raavi, agar meri jagah tum hoti to tum kaise react karti? Mai gusse mai thi, embarassed thi.isliye aise react kiya.aur kuch bahut illogical demand to nahi hai na meri.thodi si privacy hi to chahti hu mai." Rishita sighed.
" Jaanti hu.par halaat abhi aise hai ki kamra banane tak ke liye paise nahi hai. dhara Di aur gombi aangan mai sote hai.aise mai tumhare room mai attached washroom banana bhi to sahi nahi hoga" raavi tried to reason with rishita.
Rishita let out a deep breath.
" To atleast mujhe yeh assurance to de sakta tha dev ki woh ISS baare mai sochega.usne to seedha mujhe selfish aur pata nahi kya kya Suna diya.jaanti hu dhara bhabi uske liye important hai.par kya mai uske liye koi maayne nahi rakhti?" She said with tears in her eyes.
" Tum tension mat lo Rishita, Dev ka gussa jaldi shaant ho jayega. Phir woh tumhari baat samjhega.aur abhi to room bhi ban gaya to sahi waqt dekh ke mai bhi dhara Di aur gombi se tumhare kamre mai bathroom banane ki baat karungi" raavi assured rishita squeezing her hands.
Rishita looked at her surprised.
" Tum itni selfless kaisi ho raavi? Sirf mere kamre mai kyu? Tumhare kamre mai bhi bathroom banna chahiye.aur agar yeh financially possible nahi hua to kam se kam ghar ke aurton ke liye ek alag bathroom to bana hi sakte hai " Rishita reasoned.
They both went to sleep after talking for sometime.
Raavi woke up in the morning,she had got her periods.this was the first time she was getting her periods here.it was easier in the haveli.now she realised what rishita meant.she had stained her kurti. How was she supposed to go out now?
She took out a pad and carefully wrapped it inside a towel.she removed the bedsheet to clean it later.she tried to cover the stained spot on her kurti with the dupatta and went out of the room.
She was waiting outside the washroom impatiently.krish was inside .
" Krish jaldi kar, aur kitna time lagega tujhe? " She said irritated.she really needed to use the washroom now.
" Bhabi , thoda intezaar kijiye.abhi to aya hu mai " Krish said.
Raavi sighed as she waited outside.
Shiva came holding a towel.
" Mujhe nahakar dukaan jaana hai.tu baad mai Chandramukhi ban jaana " he said.
" Dekh shiva, mai pehle ayi thi isliye mai pehle jaungi." She said pointing a finger towards him.
" Nahi.mai jaunga " shiva said adamantly.
Dhara and gombi were looking at them from the aangan and smiling.
" Dekh shiva, mujhe subah subah tujhse jhagda nahi karna.mujhe pehle jaane de.samajh baat ko" she tried to make her bhootnath understand.
" To Mai kahaan jhagda kar raha hu.seedhe seedhe bol raha hu ki mujhe jaane de." He said.
Krish came out and stood in front of them.
" Ek kaam karo, dono ek saath chale jao " Krish winked at shiva only to get a tapli from him.
Raavi dashed inside when shiva pulled her by holding her arm.her dupatta got displaced.
The towel and pad fell on the floor.
" Maine kaha na Mai..." Shiva stopped when he looked down.
Raavi closed her eyes in embarrassment.
She adjusted her dupatta to hide the stain, hoping no one sees it.
Dhara and gombi didn't know what to say.
Krish also got a bit awkward.
Rishita came and picked up the towel and pad.she gave it to raavi who just went inside hurriedly.
Rishita went to dhara and gombi.
" Ab mai kahungi to sabko bura hi lagega.dhara di ab iss ghar mai teen ladkiya hai.ek bathroom hai jise 8 log istemaal karte hai.aap hi bataiye kya yeh koi problem wali baat nahi hai.raavi itni der se bahar iss halat mai khadi hokar Krish ke bahaar ane ka intezaar kar rahi thi.phir shiva chala jaata to use aur wait karna padta.mere kamre mai nahi to atleast hum ghar ke aurton ke liye ek alag bathroom to bana hi sakte hai na" she said.
" Rishita thk keh rahi hai dhara.hum chaaro bhaiyon ki koi behen nahi thi, shayad isliye hamara dhyan kabhi inn cheezon par nahi gaya.par itne logo ka ek bathroom use karna sach mai problematic hai." He said.
Dhara nodded.
" Bhabi kuch construction ka samaan bach gaya hai.hum aaj hi kaam shuru kar sakte hai.jo baaki saaman hai dev mangwa dega " shiva said.
" Hann shiva.yeh Sahi rahega.mai jab shaadi karke ayi thi to tum sab bacche the, par ab halaat alag hai.ek alag bathroom banna hi chahiye" she said
Rishita smiled and hugged dhara.
" Thank you" she said
Dhara smiled and patted her head.
Raavi came out changed and was avoiding looking at anyone.she went to her room.
Shiva entered and saw her sitting on the bed.
" Waise manna padega chipkali, teri wajah se naya bathroom ban raha hai.jo rihsita bhabi itna hungama karke nahi kar payi, tune to aise hi kar liya " he teased her.
" Maine kya kiya? Woh to galti se gir gaya.sab teri wajah se hua.wahan sab the.kya soch rahe honge? " She said cribbing looking down.
Shiva came and sat near her.
" Koi kuch nahi sochega.sab bade hain aur samajhdar bhi.samjhi? Tujhe embarrassed hone hi koi zaroorat nahi hai." He assured her
"Sorry raavi. Maine kabhi teri zarooraton par dhyan nahi diya.pehle yeh storeroom, phir zameen par Sona, phir bathroom issue.mai aaj se dhyan rakhunga.pakka." he said sincerely
He felt bad today seeing his wife standing embarassed, struggling to hide herself in front of the entire family.she was his responsibility.her safety, comfort, respect was something he had to take care of.
Raavi looked up at him in awe.this was the first time he was talking normally with her after days.
She just nodded at him with a smile.
