She really is holding onto VJ for dear life. The entire episode, every scene of her trying to push him to speak gave me this sense of desperation.
She is holding onto this belief he loves her too to keep her going in this act. We already saw how broken she was when that 100 mirrors waka episode ended. She was completely lost and senseless knowing he considers her nothing in his life.
The more he keeps rejecting her reminders as VJ, the more it makes her insecurity grow and her optimistic thought grows stronger as bubble to shield her from breaking down.
We have all been thinking about how all this affects Ani but honestly, Bon is suffering too, she spent every day and night of 8 years in his memories and hoping she would be by his side in his fight.
To come back and see the destruction that laid waste on her relationship with her god, it must be wreaking an havoc on her internally but she isn't acknowledging it since she has convinced herself that it will all work out if he is with her.

I think you're right. She does have a coping mechanism bound to him, because for her he is her everything. She doesn't know how to function after this, and even in London she probably always imagined that he'd be there to guide her when she returned. However, I also do believe that her 'pyaar ka bhukaar' dialogues are not because she's in some fantasy world... she does truly love him.
@bold- very true!! He is her world. Her life revolves around him and with him pushing her away her life kinda feels aimless to her. She really doesn't know what to do. I mean for 8 years she lived in the hope of returning to him and then she discovers this person doesn't want to see her? What does that leave her with? She has nothing else to look forward to. It's like suddenly her purpose of returning is took away from her and she is lost. It's the same way Anirudh drowned in sorrow when he felt he couldn't make Bondita barrister. There was nothing to look forward to for him in life.
@pink- I too believe that she truly loves him and cares for him immensely. But it's just that her pyar ka bhukaar dialogues makes her love seem less intense and more childish. It's kinda annoying when she keeps uttering it every now and then. More like makers are going overboard with it.

You remember that bathtub scene pre-leap where Ani was drowning? I think it was foreshadowing because literally that's what he is going through... and in order to save a drowning victim, you yourself have to submerge yourself in water. Then when she saves him, they'll both be able to get up for air.
All she wants to do is heal him and she's so close to that final destination, so yes, she is desperate, but that's because she believes there's no other option left. I don't blame her at all.
Yes. I think that's pretty much how it is for Bon too, she cannot go on without him acknowledging her. She did all this for the dream they had together, 8 years of her life was spent in achieveing that dream and to come back to this? It must be devastating at another level. She considered him more closer than her own family, more real than her own blood, he was equal to her mother, more her bhagwan than actual idol she prays to.
If Ani keeps this up, doesn't acknowledge her then I have a very bad feeling that Bon is gonna spiral out of control.

I really wish Ani pays heed to how his behaviour affects Bondita. He was her only true family. He should know that him avoiding her, not even wanting to see her face must have broken her completely💔 What happened with him was extremely unfortunate but why is he sacrificing his precious relationship for this? He knows what kind of cruel people TM and CC are and how spineless Sumati is. Still he is leaving her to deal with them alone. She was always his Bondita for him. Him leaving her to her fate is a bit shocking to me
