I really dont think pack price badhega toh individual channel ki price badhegi as currently bouquet me rakhne ka limit 19rs hai only jada badhaya toh out of bouquet hoga channels

Tumne pahle SIPL & baaki packs ki increased price nhi dekhi.....unki price badhti hai but channel ki price same hi rehti hai (as they mostly add diff channels in pack to justify their prices)

19-22rs aam admi ke liye jada nhi hai nd yeh sp & sony unki daily needs jesa hai so woh itna price ke liye definitely lenge but not more than 30 & 50

See Raj first of all i just dont wanna talk on what worked in the past what will work in future. My pov says SP will be priced Rs 29 thats it. There's no point of discussion regarding. If its priced Rs. 29 i dont think so called commoners ke sar pe pahaad toont padega like if they can pay Rs. 20 then why cant pay 10 rupees more if the channel serves better content.

Par unko better content chahiye kisne bola hai?? They want ghisa pita content only

There is no way that this 25-30yr old mass ent channels will suddenly turned into high quality premium channels

Yeh audience bhi accept nhi karegi as mass entermaint unki 20+ yr ki buildup identity hai

Its not joke ki suddenly itna bade channel ko premium channel me convert karo

See you are taking my whole pov to a different tangent. I am not saying now that SP will turn into a highly premium channel all of a sudden i am just saying that SP will be priced under Rs. 29. And also do you think that everything will depend on trp in the future. Digital audience will be focus too within few years and i am not saying that they will turn down the masses ofcourse not regressive shows will be there but there will be equal amount of good shows too which is why i feel the price hike decision will be justified. This is my ultimate pov.

@bold but sp agar 19 se jada hua toh woh out of bouquet hoga (as per NTO 1.0)

But agr ala carte gaya toh still i dont think Hindi gec jese channel 30rs tak price rakhenge as they themselves knows ki yeh pricing kaha tak affordable hai (baat sirf ek admi ki nhi balki 17cr tv homes ki hai )

Digital audience ka maine pahle bhi bola tha unko jada weightage nhi milega as woh jada se jada 10-20 % contribute karenge in overall revenues

Digital audience not gonna give them higher revenues so ultimate decision make only TV trp hi hogi
