Imo he was just being stupid and throwing typical husband dukhi from wife joke. It's funny because it didn't land.

It would be so nice if Sona takes AYUSH to meet Jatin. And all 3 have fun maybe dance around or something.

Or even Dev overhears Jatin and sona's conversation and understands how he's neglecting Sona and her feelings (not only about AYUSH but also concerning asha's death)

Dev had a weird sense of humor. "main tumhare aangan ki tulsi banne ko tayyar hun" types 🤣.. Even when they were separated and not getting along at all, Dev teasing her was funny.. "Saurabh ke shaadi mein kuch hot vot banne ka irada hai ya aise hi boring intellectual banke ghumogi" or that "Yummy but not for Mummy" bit 🤣🤣 it was just so hilarious!

This joke, on the other hand, was like those stupid forward messages that we get on marriages and husband-wives and sorry to say, it was in a bad taste.

And that look at Sona. I am sure it's got nothing to do with Jatin.

Dev knows they are just friends. I think it was just him realizing that he was putting his foot in his own mouth...oops!! 😅
