On the other hand a small part of me wished he knew it was Bondita. If the scene had Rudhita I mean if Ani knew it was Bondita, uss scene ka magic kuch aur hi hota

It's only because he can sense it is Bondita that he broke down, he wouldn't have.. otherwise, 8 saal me this guy hasn't broken down in front of his own family... why would he, now, if some part of him did not feel that it was Bondita beside him.
And also, Bon was more herself today than VJ... she was quiet, understanding and just wanting to share his burden. Honestly, the scene reminded me more of Rudhita than anything else... it was exactly how I would imagine Bondita to comfort Ani when he breaks down.

That is the point here, like Pravisht said in his IV, Ani knows it is Bon, bas Barrister Babu doesn't want to accept it. But deep down he has recognised her. I don't think woh aise hi kisi random ladki ke saamne aise open up hota.
Yesterday the Nazuk Kali in him recognised his Suraj, and like a sunflower, unconsciously gravitated towards her.
