I loved your post Pri ..I maybe in minority but I do want Raavi's abandonment issues to crop up.

What I want is something like this -

Raavi realizes that shiva is distancing himself from her. And in her abandonment issues, she tries to cling more. She becomes over enthusiastic in the store trying to learn everything not just sitting at the counter. She tries to help him out at every step. In the process, she again makes certain mistakes( sensible ones- I have no idea what) and Shiva scolds her for those like today . However Shiva does not tell her that he is quite proud of all that she has learnt in this short amount of time. Raavi is privy to the scoldings only not the appreciation ( that could have been shown by Shiva speaking to Dhara or Gaumbi).

Raavi meets Maami and she starts insulting Shiva. Raavi puts her foot down telling her to stop all this maybe harshly this time. Maami in a fit of rage lashes out at Raavi saying of course she would choose shiva over her- children these days .

All of it starts taking a toll on Raavi and finally she has a breakdown preferably alone . She breaks down not from sorrow but frustration and helplessness. Despite her best efforts, she is unable to handle either of her home. She does not know where she stands with Shiva . She knows her maasi is wrong but stills feels bad for hurting her. She is trying her best to help out at the shop but instead is just making mistake after mistake. Where is she going?

She has just tired herself crying and sitting in her room. Shiva comes back . He notices she is more silent than usual. On coming closer se knows that she has been crying. He asks her what happened- if anybody hurt her. Hearing the urgent concern in his voice Raavi hugs him tightly. Shiva hugs her back at the moment but is even more agitated about her. Raavi realizes that she is not alone. Her situation requires efforts but she can do it . She pulls back smiles at time and says everything would be alright now. Don't worry.

I completely respect your opinion. Forum members comparing the OG with the show can be a little disconcerting as not everyone can participate (especially if you haven't watched the OG). However, the reason why I struggle to distance myself from the OG is a little like how you compare a book to it's movie adaptation. Both of them offer different things, but you can't help but compare them at every point.

Most of the forum probably has only heard the negatives, but here are a few positives in this show that the OG did not have:

1. Shiva and Raavi have an extensive childhood relationship that has immense potential! There is also great chemistry between KD and Alice. The OG actors were perfect for their roles, but the sizzling chemistry is something that KD and Alice shine!

2. Shiva and Dhara's relationship is something else! Dhanam and Kathir are great, but I always found Kathir to be a little reserved. He immensely respected Dhanam. However, Shiva is very different. He is not afraid of showing his vulnerable side to Dhara, and out of all the brothers, I think Dhara has the greatest soft spot for Shiva. This honestly is very, very, very cute to see on screen!

3. Dhara and Suman's track is a lot more fleshed out! It's something that is unique, suspenseful, and I really can't wait to see how they show the Dhara/Suman relationship once Dhara's mother makes an apperance.

4. Dhara and Gaumbi's love is a next level type of love. The OG did not have this, and I appreciate PS for exploring the sensual side of GauRa.

Apologies again, but the comparisons to the OG was always a great way for me to speculate "What next?" Will definitely tone it down if it bothers you, though.

Raavi was really hurt today.shiva will probably ignore her more due to his focus on the room issue.in the SBS segment there was a brief glimpse of shiva pointing a finger and telling something to raavi, when Krish Interrupts.maybe he was telling her to stay away or reprimanding her for another mistake.

I would also like to see raavi breaking down.if shiva has been through hurt and humilation, then raavi has also her share of pain.she was finally getting comfortable in the marriage when shiva is pushing her away.atleast shiva has a reason, and know where he Stands.but raavi is clueless about his behaviour.the uncertainty and ignorance can flare her abandonment issues.she may try to get a reaction from him initially as we saw in the bed scene and store scene.but she will gradually breakdown.i really want this to happen.this is the only route via which shiva will genuinely talk with her about their marriage, atleast assure her that he will never leave her.

He would look so Hott while boxing😍😍😍

But I don't think they will show any career related issues in the show.everyones life will revolve around the store and it's branches.atmost maybe they will show shiva complete his education because of raavi's encouragement.🥺🥺

I am a massive fan of boxing. My sister was a state-level kid boxer when she was very young. Gender woes and society made her give up. I love Vineet Kumar Simgh who debuted with the most fantastic boxing movie Mukkabaaz! And, yesterday that I watched Toofan. Damper though!

I could only imagine Shiva! There's a difference between channeled rage and raging aimlessly. Shiva should opt for boxing 😆
