The emotions, build up, and drama are honestly what tied me to the OG. I was too busy to post on the day of Shiva's breakdown, but I compared the set up of Shiva's breakdown to Kathir's breakdown to Bharat's breakdown (in Telugu), and I realized that while KD emoted very well, the emotions seemed a little misplaced. I genuinely think this breakdown scene happened a little too late. I think I would've enjoyed it more if it happened while they were in the haveli. Shiva could've broken down hearing Raavi's taunts of him being a "gawar" and of him being ready to abandon her.

I think the reason why I am not forming an emotional connection is because the makers are going too fast with each track. It's just episode 150 and they covered so much! I want to tell them to slow down a little. Insert a few relevant monologues as we constantly miss Raavi's thoughts.

I'm just curious to see what they come up with after Dhara's pregnancy track. I kind of wonder if they will even bother covering Shiva's education track...

Dunno why it gives me the feeling they can end soon. It's like if they have to, at a drop of the hat, they can just wrap up the show with a YKB and say the family lived happily ever after 😕

The OG had simple issues too but they were well spaced out. And they were stretched out appropriately- there was a beginning, middle and end. It wasn't this rushed.

Let's see what the makers have in mind 🙁

Coming to Shiva and Dev scene...the flashbacks were so good. For a change I liked Dev in the scene too😆 for them to know that they truly were Dharas bachas and what Gaura sacrificed for them❤️

They're both hurting and I think they're slowly building up this track with them. The promo where he comes drunk is probably just the beginning💔😔I have a feeling both their insecurities will be high and they might misunderstand each other.

Might be mini seperation,god knows but I hope they show more feelings from Raavis end. Or atleast some monologues to understand what she's feeling.

Also next time she goes to the store she should be wise enough to be alert and focus on the work instead,show positive inputs from her end.

IKR, he did so much prolonged planning and tapasya for Jeera kaand, and Motiben closed his shop within literally 15 minutes by telling Gautam the plan and getting recorded by Rishitha 🤣

I see lot of comparison with OG, but I think the show is going in good pace. We should not forget the crowd who are watching Pandya Store.

Blv it or not OG is extremely slow as its regional show. But when show becomes national, they have to think larger audience. Certain tracks won't be shocking for national audience like this Gaura sacrifice. I think its good they didn't make such hype.

Here, characters and story modified by keeping the type of audience in mind.

If they completely copy OG , I would have never watched Pandya store because I dont have that much time and patience.

P.S; I am glad they didn't show single-bed for Shivi on this version.

@bold: exactly! they have covered 300 episodes worth of tracks from the OG in 150 episodes only.. I just don't understand the rush either.. I would love to see monologues and introspection from each of the characters.. right now we're only getting them for Shiva, GauRa and Rishita to some extent

I also would have liked a little more build up for Shiva's breakdown. Him getting drunk just because Raavi's friend said those words didn't really create as much of an impact in me as I would have liked

The scene itself was very well done and KD was amazing, but something was lost in the build up and background, as is often the case with PS 😕

Yes the episode was amazing...and today my heart goes out Gaumbi...Gaura scene stole my heart today❤️

I enjoyed all other scenes too..everything was impactful to the story except Mami and Anita🤢
