Reminded me of KV's portrayal of the psycho husband Viraj Dobriyaal in 'Saubhagyavati bhava'.

Suhagraat mein doodh ke saath cockroach pila diya tha biwi ko 😆🤣

Viraj Dobriyal is literally the scariest ITV Villain ever created. I remember being shocked at the atrocities they were able to show & the channel had to cut quite a few scenes after complaints. Even then the makers were able to pull off many scenes brilliantly. For me, Karanvir will remain iconic due to this character.

YUDKBH is a gem ITV got blessed with. I cannot believe it was made so authentically that I, a person, who doesn't watch old movies/listen to old songs a lot was completely enraptured by it.

Yes agree and the songs they used were all the ones I had heard when I was growing up. Beautiful song selection and the situations and the comedy - everything was spot on from the problems in schools to the typical classmates you find. I really want to watch the show from the beginning but I don't know how I can watch it.

Only catch is you have to watch with subtitles since they aren't dubbed. If anyone wants recommendations, I can give.

We are getting Subtitles for Marathi movies too now. Please recommend me some, I have been dying to try them.

As I might have already mentioned before, I watch all South Indian Languages & Bengali Movies with subtitles & not dubbed. I believe it takes away the character of the entire movie.

I haven't been able to try Gujarati & Marathi yet cos I couldn't find a combination of both Good Reviews & Subtitles to be able to comprehend the movie.

Absolutely❤️

I think they're all available on SONY Liv website & you have to just register with your phone without any fees for atleast the old shows.

True. They DID show some REALLY disturbing scenes. But that left a huge impact as you say Karanvir would remain iconic for.

I have to check if SonyLiv is available here in US as a stand-alone app. They come with Direct TV or Dish Network and I am not a fan of having zillion channels just to watch one. I have Amazon Prime, HBO Max and HotStar.

BTW how many of you are planning to watch Olympics ? I have literally booked the next 2 weeks to watch all the important games. Hope India gets good amount of medals this time around - They do have good athletes in Track and Field, Archery, weightlifting, Badminton, boxing.

In Tamil industry also, there are some really good movie. They have kinda stopped sexualising women and glorifying ML in recent times. But actions are still OTT in many places

As I have already told I can't tell apart Telugu and Kannada movies so I am considering both as one thing rn. There are some relatively good movies comparing to Bollywood.

I agree with that South movies are close to real life comparing to Bollywood. As a audience, we have started to appreciate movies with deep meaning resulting in many such good movies.

I totally agree with you.

Once I started watching the whole lot of them, I realized my rankings go like Malyalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada (based solely on my opinions) .

Bangalore Days is literally my first love❤️

I cannot believe we had a movie like Thani Oruvan created. It amplified my respect for the South Industry so much. I went into full dive to figure out all that I could watch.

100% Love with Naga Chaitanya & Tamannah remains my goto movie. It's just so sweet & simple🤗

I share same ranking as yours. Malayalam will always top the list followed by Tamil.

Bangalore days is my favorite movie ❤️. I don't think I can get over it any soon.

I remember that 100% love was such a popular movie at a time. It was such a different movie from usual South romance movies. There was another college movie starring Tamannah named Happy days. It was my go to movie at a time.

So, I wanted context to be able to enjoy it fully, so I started watching episodes as well. She blogged the show from October to Jan, and I watched it for the same duration. I got a couple of my IRL friends to watch as well, and we'd laugh like crazy watching the madness in that show.

Whatttttt? We have live blogs of ITV shows on Tumblr. I haven't really gotten the hang of Tumblr yet completely but if it's this cool could you send me the links please. I would love to check it out as I love these kinda things❤️❤️
