I'm taking this as a compliment 😎
It is 😉
But still I can't comprehend the fact that you used to watch IMMJ.

Okay, I'll help you understand. I follow a blog on tumblr who does hilarious reviews of dumb TV shows. She started doing live blogs of IMMJ, totally roasting it, and she had me in splits. So, I wanted context to be able to enjoy it fully, so I started watching episodes as well. She blogged the show from October to Jan, and I watched it for the same duration. I got a couple of my IRL friends to watch as well, and we'd laugh like crazy watching the madness in that show.

There's something...magical about that scene. It was fate's design.
Yes the first episode was truly iconic. I can write thesis about it. The very first episode I saw was Raghav having panic attack after Sulo accepts that she framed Amma and Keerti. I was like okay this guy truly seems to be guilty. Let me watch this show. And dang I watched the first episode twice - to actually see the ML speaking Telugu dialogues and then the iconic sindoor scene and the title song. That was when I was totally hooked.
The characteristics of both Raghav and Pallavi and their loneliness were etched so perfectly it is like by the 20th episode I was like Farhad - these 2 will complete each other. I don't know but it feels like soul mates finding each other story for me.
They gave that oh so typical background only to glorify her. Whole tone of the show was that. Actress, ph everyone kept saying till the last day 'that character is slightly grey'- yes that is the exact word used for her.
She wasn't really glorified. Things that she suffered from her parents was shown. Didn't change the fact that she was emotionally abusive and mentally ill. Ruined so much of the ML's life. That's why Saanjh's character existed.
You're right about Sakshi,Shweta and Mona. Queen or not,Jennifer is an amazing actress as well.
I really don't find her 'amazing actress'. So yeah not going to talk about her much.
& to each their own.🤗

remember the halla around Raghav’s memory loss and all the theories that have popped up ever since 🤣
Is this really the same FD with whom I spend last 5 months.
Don't worry. Many of the crazy theories are made by new people in FD 😆

You know, you've captured the exact scenes that got me hooked too. I saw the sindoor at charminar scene on twitter, someone was actually making fun of it, but it looked soooo beautiful to me, I decided to watch the show. This was just one or two days before the first episode aired I think, so I was keen to check it out. I didn't love the show immediately, but Pallavi captured my heart, so I started watching it, but kaafi casually.
Raghav's panic attack after finding out the truth- that was when I first warmed up to Raghav, because his guilt didn't come from the fact that he'd fallen in love with Pallavi, which is how they usually show redemption tracks- ML falls in love with FL, so he starts feeling bad for having wronged her. Nope, he was guilty because he was wrong. That's when I truly got attached to the show.

The experimentation keeda in ITV was brought by Colors only started with NBT then Udaan, Krishndasi, Bepannah, Silsilay Badalte Rishton Ki. Then Sony took the helm and gave shows like Kuch to Log Kahenge, Kuch Rang Pyar ki Aisi Bhi, Yeh Un Dino Ki Baat Hai, Patiala Babes. Now Star Plus is also experimenting with show like SAKK,MHRW. Hope Zee will learn and invest on experimental scripts.
