Who was hotter?

Rani Mukherjee or Kajol? I think both had potential to be hot but were typecasted as susheel type actresses

I find none of them hot but Rani is a better actress IMO.

I find Rani more attractive in terms of her looks/persona... and she looked breathtaking in Har Dil Jo.

I absolutely despised all those susheel, goody two shoes roles of Rani for sure. Mardaani and Hichki are two of my favorites ... and then Dil Bole Hadippa.

Rani is a great dancer and I wished they'd tapped on that potential more too, but they didn't. Shahid and Rani's dance performance to Dil Bole Hadippa is worth a watch.

Neither are sexy, lol. Rani was quite beautiful in her prime (with makeup and grooming of course). Kajol looked abysmal in most of her films.

That said, the tables have turned and Kajol has had a makeover and looks quite stunning now (even though she is not conventionally pretty) while Rani has stopped taking care of herself long ago.

But in their respective primes, Rani was more beautiful.

Rani by a long shot. Kajol was charming but calling her hot would be a bit much. She comes off as too neurotic for that. Rani had the face the voice the eyes and the personality. I think she hits that insane balance guys expect from a girl..the angelic 'proper' wife in public who is a wh#re in bed.

Kajol seems whiny and entitled which kinds goes against hotness. But her wavy hair from the DDLJ days was something.

Rani. Just see her in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, she was so hot and sensuous!

IMO she can carry off the good girl roles and the hot roles and the intense roles equally well.
